[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Everything hurts. The broken antler, the lines Gabriel had scored across his chest, the snaps at his muzzle and ears. It'd all be tolerable if it wasn't compounded with some sorta guilt that he can't describe. There's just this heavy stabbing — he chooses to interpret it as anger; has to think of it like that. Bitterness because he chose to drive off the only person who'd ever cared about keeping him alive. Everyone else here barely gives him a second glance, which's still mostly his fault, probably. It's not like he'd made the best first impression. Or third. Or fourth. Definitely not fifth, at this rate. Gabe had to make a fucking sign so people would understand it. They still don't. Wouldn't. He'd spent a day off licking his wounds, glaring at anyone who dared to get close to him. But he figures it's time to face the music, and the Cane Corso had limped back towards the center of The Ascendants' territory and ends up at the edges of the pool — he doesn't know what it's called, but it's clear and kinda beautiful.

The canine crouches there, the water lapping at his paws. After a second's consideration, he ducks his head down and shakes it in the water, cold but exactly what he'd needed. Drops of red wash into the pool from his wounds, but his thoughts don't bother to go with it. It clears his head a little, though. Just a little. He'd grown up independent, survived by fighting over scraps, defending his own with his life. This shouldn't be too much of a change.

[size=9pt]Moon's at the... Starpond, or whatever it's called, for various medical reasons when he spots the Cane Corso. He'll admit he hesitates, perhaps dwindling on some preconceived notions of who Lazarus was, but ultimately he knows his job as a Halo comes before his job as a judgmental dumbass, so he forces himself to head the boy's way.

"Hey," he says, an attempt at getting Lazarus' attention. He seems distracted, staring into the watery depths like I'd tell him the answers to all his problems. Moon's voice isn't as light as it typically is; he's frowning, resisting the urge to shove the canine into the pond instead of tell him that he'd find no solace, there. But, again, he reminds himself to be understanding. For all he knows, Gabe could of fucked up as much as this kid. It looked like a heated brawl, nothing one-sided, so perhaps he should shut the fuck up with the preconceptions and actually ask. Eventually, he will. For now, "You alright? I can take a look at your wounds. No questions about Feathers, swear."

    SUITE
    HEART
Suitheart rarely ever traveled to Starpool. The calm, still waters weren't exactly her cup of tea. No, no she preferred the endless push and pull of the ocean to this serene pond. The sea made her feel as though she was being washed clean whereas Starpool made her feel like she was stewing in her transgressions.

Even so, for whatever reason, she found herself headed there now. It hadn't taken long to reach the well-known spot. Baby blue eyes spotted Moonmade and Lazarus, and she watched the latter place his wounded head underneath the water. She wrinkled her nose as crimson stained the crystal clear liquid. Flicking a tail, the feline used her powers to extract the blood from the water where she would then toss it to the side.

"You look like hell," she commented, head tilted to the left minutely as she did so. "What the fuck happened?" Suiteheart didn't seem to have any sort of filter today (nor was she aware of what transpired between Laz and Gabriel). Go figure. Sailor mouth aside, concern edged its way into her azure gaze. "Moon, lemme know if you need help."

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 55%; font-family: arial; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px;"]Imperia is also unaware of what transpired between Moon, Gabriel, and Lazarus. And it is probably for the best as the timid creature does not do well around conflict. The reason as to why she is present for this interaction is not because she was seeking out Moon (though the sight of him does inspire a fluttering in her chest), but because she comes to the Starpool often to retrieve meteorite shards with which to practice her forging.

The lovely canine arrives shortly after the others, petite figure laden with several baskets with with she will store the small fragments to use for her practice. Even encumbered with the extra weight, Imperia moves with a certain, otherworldly grace. Curiosity sparkles within those luminous silver eyes, and then concern upon noticing the unfamiliar Cane Corso's wounds. "Mon dieu," she curses softly before delicately setting down her belongings and trotting over to investigate. Suiteheart already asked the important questions and stated the important observations, so the cleric does not bother with her usual twenty questions. Sagacious argent eyes sweep over the younger male's body, carefully making note of all his injuries with the expertise of a practiced healer.

Suddenly, she seems to realize that in her concern, she completely forgot to acknowledge those around her. An apologetic smile tugs at the edges of dark lips, transforming her pretty visage from one of seriousness to one of sheepishness. "Ah, sorry, where are my manners? My name is Imperia," she introduces to the unfamiliar male before offering a friendly smile to both Suite and Moon, though her gaze seems to linger on the latter for a moment or two before returning to Lazarus.

[div style="width: 45%; margin: auto; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 11px; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify"]When Hearteyes had first joined, she had been excited to see the Starpool. It was rumored to be absolutely beautiful, and she just had to see it for herself. The molly is now crouched down at the edges of the pond, peering into the water, watching the clouds pass over her head through the reflection. Sitting and appreciating aesthetics was not something that she did often, but it seemed that her tourist side was making an appearance today.

Her ears twitch at the sound of other animals approaching the water, pink eyes lifting from the stones under her paws to the group on the other side of the pool. She blinks in surprise at the sight of Lazarus, concern immediately taking over her expression. She lifts herself to her paws, making her way quickly to her clanmates. "Are you, like, are you okay? I mean, um, do you need anything? You're really hurt." There isn't much that Hearteyes can do, but her empathetic nature demands that she at least offer her help. The sight of the dog's injuries makes her own chest ache, expression becoming more worried the longer she studied him. She instinctively searches for some kind of comfort, coming to press against Imperia's leg, ears pressed against her head.

    Agent Washington
former human - freelancer - manipulative
He could say that he was independent. But, he wasn't entirely so. Sure, if he was out in the middle of nowhere, he was going to be able to figure out how to survive. However, he had worked with others for a very very long time. Almost throughout his entire military career. He learned to not trust them completely though, as he knows better than to do something like that. Especially, after basically being shot in the back by the one group that he had actually trusted for a long period of time. Washington also didn't know everyone that existed in the outpost that they were currently in. He usually tried his best to at least know the names and appearances of those that he was going to end up approaching and talking to. He wasn't great when it came to being social, but he tried as long as he could get information for people. There were plenty of things that was going on inside of the outpost, but there was little he could do about half of the stuff that happened. He was able to make some progress in his gear, but that was roughly about all that he had managed to do as of late.

He did his patrols half of the time by himself and that meant he checked everything with the territory. Hearing voices though, and not being able to smell the blood that was coming from the animal, he made his way over, investigating exactly what was going on. He liked to keep track of potential threats that were around, and he made his way over. He noticed a dog that was simply just laying in the water, scratches and other wounds that were on him. Like everyone else, the Freelancer kept his distance from everyone else, looking at those that he recognized. He flicked one of his ears inside of helmet as he sat himself down. The other was obviously injured based on the blood that was going through the water. He didn't see any sign of a fight on the ground, so he wasn't sure how the other ended up becoming injured, and he also had no idea who this was, not recognizing the dog at all. The lion-sized animal didn't say anything for several seconds, having arrived after everyone stopped talking. "[b]What happened here?" The soldier questioned calmly, his attention drawn toward the cane corso.

    IMPORTANT FACTS:
★ Agent Washington always wears his armor and never takes it off. Which means no one knows what his face actually looks like.
★ He hates being called any sort of nickname, preferring for his full name to be used when addressing him. He will constantly state so, as its just how he's used to being talked to.
★ Agent Washington suffers from insomnia and auditory/visual hallucinations.
★ The armor that he wears is extremely tough, there are some spaces in between the armor, but if someone were to hit his armor it would not break.
★ Due to his experience when he was a human, he prefers working alone and not counting on others to help him in a bad situation.
★ Washington will not trust your character. No matter how nice they are. He will not tell them anything until getting to know them.
★ His current goal is to turn himself back into a human, as he doesn't want to be a cat forever. Because of this goal, he is less likely to offer assistance to the groups.

    RECENT EVENTS (oldest-recent):
    ★

    PHYSICAL:
    ★ ARMORED SLATE GREY SMILODON FATALIS [birth/main] | health: 100% | Reference.
580lbs. Agent Washington is a species of Smilodon, roughly the size of a lion. Washington is different compared to most Smilodons due to the strange coloration of his fur. That being a dark slate grey compared to the regular tawny of a simple smilodon. There are faint spots that are visible around his back legs, but only when the light hits it in a specific way. Not only that, but Agent Washington wears titanium alloy armor, making it extremely durable for taking hits and can be used as a means of bashing an enemy. The armor color itself is slightly lighter than that of his actual fur color. He wears a chest plate, that covers his chest and half of his back. Then there are shoulder plates that cover his shoulders and his arms protecting the front half of his body. There is a gap between the shoulder plate and the rest of the arm plate of his armor. His shoulder plate is a yellow, making it stand out from the slate grey armor he wears. Washington also wears a Spartan Helmet resembling that seen in the Halo series. The visor is a reflective gold and having a yellow line going down the middle of the helmet. While he wears armor, one doesn't notice the extreme amount of scars that cover his body, that has transferred from the time that he was a human. Scars ranging from those made by knives, bullets, and blunt trauma. Since his armor doesn't cover the lower half of his body (flank, and back legs), several scars can be seen uncovered in that area. Even though no one has seen his face, if someone were to see his face, his eyes are a deep gold color with blue wrapping around his pupil. The blue is a result of the trauma from a failed AI implantation when he was human. There is a scar on the back of his neck that branches out almost like a lightning bolt, and its barely visible as his helmet hides the majority of said scars. Being a Smilodon means that he has long incisors, but it seems for some reason someone had filed down his incisors, making them useless unless he can put enough force into the blow. However, since he wears his helmet, its impossible for him to use his fang to attack. Leaving his powers and paws as the only offensive means.
    - major injuries: none
    - minor injuries: none

    PERSONALITY:
Once being immature, goofy, and charismatic, Washington was changed completely after the implantation of a computer inside of his head that nearly caused him his death. He is a soldier and hasn't been anything but a soldier in his life, making sure to follow the rules as much as possible. He believes loyalty is everything, and unless given a reason to he will not betray anyone. He is extremely serious and will work himself to exhaustion before trying to relax. Thinking that he must be prepared for everything that will be thrown at it. He prefers to be alone, but that just puts more stress on his head due to the factor that his mental stability is almost nonexistent. Washington is an expert when it comes to regular military strategies, and he almost knows nothing of the clans and how they work. In his mind, he is only on an alien planet and they potentially did something to him. He knows that he needs to get back to the project once the ship had crashed, but now he is actually in a different world. His only plan is to figure out a way to find his goal, and if that means he has to kill anyone in his way to get the information he will do just such. Washington suffers from different lapses of hallucinations and this can be easy for him to snap toward others in a violent manner. Being a soldier, if all else fails he will use violence at his full extent.
