// if you want a specific fortune for your character, let me know! otherwise i'll just have henri come up with something lol
henri of course believed himself to be a prophet. a messenger of the one true king, belial. there was no doubts about it in his head- his entire life, nearly sixteen months, had been spent worshiping the demon. he believed his disability to be a blessing from his patron demon himself, his dead eyes a shield from the horrors of life. he could still hear things, though. he had heard many people's dying breaths, their rattling voices as they gave themselves to their king.
henri hoped for a similar fate for all of snowbound. he had no intended malice, obviously- he just believed that sacrificing yourself was the best thing one could do. of course, henri himself couldn't die, he had too much work to do right now. he knew as soon as belial commanded it, though, he'd drink that kool-aid.
he wanted to gently introduce people to his church, and decided he'd start out with a little fun. henri believed he had the power to look into the future- whether it was true or not, who knew, but he believed it was a gift. of course, he couldn't see the future, obviously, but it was like a divine knowledge filled his head. "greetings, lovely snowbounders!" he spoke, a merry tune in his voice. "if anybody wants to see what the future has in store for you, come talk to me!" he said, batting an eyelash.
