Thankfully, he found his way to Tanglewood and back. Speaking of them, they were very...interesting. He definitely didn't like the watery mog they called home, and the people gave him the creeps but otherwise? They were alright. He didn't know of what they had done in the past, though.

"Alright, gather around. We're playing a nice game of capture the flag," the canine announces, standing beside a blue flag. This whole thing reminded him of that one time one of the Reds had managed to get their flag, which turned into a whole shit-show. But that was another story for another time. "The game is simple--just try to capture the other team's flag, and bring it back to your team's base. If you're tagged by the enemy team, you have to go back to your own team's territory. Once you've been tagged a certain amount of times, you're out of the game until the next round, everybody got that?" he started to explain as people gathered around, glancing around and waiting to see if anyone had any questions.

Imperia is among the first to arrive. Slender limbs carry the dainty predator forwards until she slows to a halt before Church. She offers the male a faint smile as she rolls onto her haunches, spine straight in prim posture. The lovely she-wolf is silent as the male speaks, listening intently as he described the basic rules. She wonders, briefly, if powers are allowed, but she thinks back on his claim that the rules are simple. Does that mean anything goes as long as no one dies or is injured? in that case, Peri decides to keep her mouth shut. She is a genuine and honest creature, but she also wants to win. "Got it," she affirms with a brisk nod. Game on.

[b]"Can there be... obstacles, of a sort?" Elon asks as she approaches, sounding somewhat innocent at first but she just can't help that shit-eating grin spouting on her face. "Nothing fatal of course." The white domestic dips her paw down, looking all coy about it but boy is she cooking up some useful traps. She remembers creating a few with her friend back in the woods she used to reside in. Some just for fun, like dunking leaves on her mentor when she came in (not a good idea in retrospect) to more dangerous ones, like for hunting. Basically, she's more then proficient at it, yet that's when she had this wonderful thing she misses so much - opposable thumbs. "But I'd need some help setting them..." An open invitation perhaps or maybe, most likely, a bribe for Church. Who can truly know. She just feels like, in this form, she's not going to get very far without some ingenuity.

The game didn't seem too hard, she had a slight advantage to the non flight members of both teams, but that would probably just be used for getting through the trees faster. Pele sat herself down near Imperia, someone she recognized from the Halo tryouts, gave her a smile before nodding at Church.

She wasn't too sure about Elon's 'obstacles' sure, nothing fatal, but that could still entail some harm.

Then he ultimately decided it might make things interesting, so he nods, grinning behind his helmet. "Sure, why the hell not? You can discuss with your teammates what kind of obstacles y'all wanna put down," Church then adds, more serious this time. "Just nothing that'll hurt anybody, capiche?" he didn't really trust the lady, especially not with that look on her face.

"Yo," he greeted with a yawn, noting which choice Church had gone with for his task. That made it easier to figure out what he might be interested in in the future, though his choice range hadn't been very broad. Whatever. "We restricted to just this area, or are we setting the flags up in each territory?" he questioned curiously, because really Madi just wanted to know if it was this thread or a free for all in other threads to snatch the flag.

♡ .. To be completely honest, something like capture the flag was probably a little over Caboose's head. He understood it to an extent. I mean, the entire war in Blood Gulch("Blood Valley") had basically been a very, very violent game of capture the flag. The way Church puts it has Caboose a little lost, though. But a lot of things people say confuse Caboose, because his vocabulary is limited and so is his ability to listen. Still, though, Church is hosting and Caboose would honest to god do literally anything Church asked of him. Even if it was basically just participating in an event.
"Teams?" Is all Caboose manages to get out as he bounds over. He .. clearly doesn't quite get what's going on at all, but teams had caught his attention. What team was he on? Red?? Blue?? Red-blue??? He might've wondered how they were decided. But he doesn't.

Surprisingly, Shining had managed to notice a crowd growing this time around. Most times he would be unaware of such things- his eyes would be downcast, staring at the ground immediately in front of him. He didn't have the willpower to keep his head up these days. The male's tired limbs carried him over to the commotion, where he spotted a blue flag waving in the wind. They were discussing traps. For what reason? Were they going on a hunt, an attempt to catch something?

Whatever it was, it'd probably escape from their paws. They'd find themselves a hair's length away, just outside their grasp, before it would slip through their claws and escape into the unknown. Prompting the hunt to continue on, an endless chase for what they truly desired. A never-ending cycle.

He'd probably be proved wrong, though.
