Caesar had always been extremely selfish in his reason of doing things. Ever since he was born, he always craved and wanted attention, and he practically took all of his mother's attention from his siblings. But believe it or not, each of them was loved and cared for, although Caesar did steal the spotlight often. Caesar always whined and cried when he didn't get his way and his mother soon came to him to soothe him. But as he got older, the want for attention was starting to grow old, and his mother soon stopped paying as much attention and stopped spoiling him as much. His mother moved on to Atbash, the only girl born in the litter. Which made sense, given the Seventh Tier's treatment of females. Caesar would have more rights than Atbash since he was born a male, and therefore didn't really have a need to be the center of attention anymore. He knew that Atbash had to be emotionally prepared for the hardships she would go through in the Seventh Tier, but it still rubbed him the wrong way.
But that didn't mean Caesar didn't love her any less. In fact, Caesar believed he had a closer relationship to his sister than he did to his brother, especially after Vigenere had gone off to the King's Guard. Atbash knew Caesar was jealous over the fact that Vigenere had been Chosen, and she was there to comfort him and reassure him that he was just as loved and wanted as Vigenere. The only reason their parents praised him was because being in the King's Guard was because it was a huge honor - but that didn't mean their parents loved him any less. Besides, with Vigenere out of the way, Caesar would be the one to inherit their father's farm, and have some place to start at when he moved away.
So how did Caesar grow to despise his sister, even though she was the one there for him the most? That was the reason: Atbash had been there for him his entire life, but when she learns that she could get the chance to return to 'normal' after their family got exiled, she abandoned him. Although Caesar knew that it was true - that she, Vigenere, and their parents would be able to return to the Seventh Tier - he wouldn't be included in being able to return to a 'normal' life. He would be stuck with the other Outcasts, fighting for his meals every day of his life. Caesar felt betrayed by her, he was hurt by her actions. He thought that she would be there for him, that she wouldn't listen to the things Vigenere spouted and went against their older brother, saying that there was no way she'd return to 'normal'. But she didn't. She believed their older brother and embraced his words, despite knowing that Caesar wouldn't be allowed to return.
Caesar knew that Atbash had nearly died the day that he set Dimension FiveX on fire, and that was one of the main reasons he assisted in getting Vigenere and Atbash out of the Dimension before it collapsed in on itself. He thought that saving her would convince her to be at his side again. But she didn't. She stayed with Vigenere, upset at Caesar's actions. She knew of his plan, and at first she did support him! But when Vigenere told her that everything could go back to normal, she backed out of the plan and went with Vigenere, and that's exactly what she had decided on doing right after they escaped their home. Caesar had been pissed, and decided that from that day on, they would regret their decision. He fled to this Dimension and onto this Earth, where he found himself making his way towards The Typhoon after hearing rumors about the group.
At first, Caesar had no idea that both of his siblings had traveled to his same Dimension, to this same Earth, but when he went to give Snowbound an invite to Pincher's rave party, he remembered catching a glimpse of yellow-orange fur, and soon figured out that Atbash was indeed here with him. Blinded with rage on how she abandoned him the most, Caesar had made his way towards Snowbound after they moved to their new home, because clearly Atbash wasn't going to appear in The Typhoon while they temporarily stayed here. As Jacob pointed out, she was too afraid of coming here - and for good reason, Caesar supposed. He likely would have injured or killed her if she stayed here. But that meant he couldn't get her while they were here, and attacking her while she was weak was the coward's way out. So Caesar had decided to attack whenever Snowbound had finally settled into their new home, and attacked Atbash when she was out in their territory.
Caesar still had yet to come up with an event for Snowbound, though he did finally finish the note he wrote to his sister. But that didn't mean the demon was happy. Since he hadn't come up with an event just yet, he was still temporarily demoted from his position as Officer, and he would continue to be that if he didn't come up with something to do with Snowbound and fast. The demon was currently pacing around his room, clearly unhappy with himself. His tail flicked back and forth as he walked, and his gaze was on the ground in front of him as he thought.
