It was good here. But she didn’t know enough about them. Georgie wanted to know more. Be in their heads. She could do it, if they weren’t strong enough. If they couldn’t keep her out. She could be such a good friend to them if she knew more.

But Georgie would wait. Would do it the proper way.

So, a game! “[color=#d4af37]A game, a game, a game.”She chanted, somewhere different than she was moments ago, somewhere more public. Georgie was too eager, too wanting to stay put for very long.

“[color=#d4af37]Who wants to play a game with me? It is two truths and a lie!” The serval called, dancing in place.

Georgie's upbeat demeanor still seemed... off, in some way. He couldn't quite put his finger on why, and it was possible that the way she was acting was entirely genuine, but it was still odd. Maybe he just wasn't used to being called "beautiful" to his face (or at all), or maybe he was just on edge after the initiation process.

Still, overhearing the serval's call from within the ship- how did she maintain such a high volume all the time?- Papercutter found himself drawn outside and towards her. While he was here, he could get a better gauge of what she wanted, or perhaps spot any further abnormalities in her behavior. Either one would be advantageous, he thought. "Will you be starting the game, then?" he asked, twitching his left ear.

Daphne had played lots of games once. It had been her job to come up with new games, to distract all the children ushered into her Otherworld with shiny gifts and entertaining stories. She supposed all that hadn't really been that long ago at all. In her time, it'd been less than a month ago. Now, though, the entire situation was unclear. Had she just distracted them to let them fall deeper into the trap laid by her doe and the other Guardians? Had the Caretakers only job been to take pain briefly, only for it to be increased ten fold later on? At the time, she thought she was saving them from a horrible experience, much like how her doe had plucked her from her own situation of thieving, lying, and poverty. Still, those conflicted and convoluted feelings regarding her past didn't affect her love for games. After all, she was still a child. At least, on the good days, that was what she tried to be. She liked to believe she hadn't been completely lost but she didn't know anymore. "I'll play!" the bird called as she landed near the small group.

"[color=#d4af37]Yes! Once we get enough friends." She hummed eagerly as Papercutter approached. "[color=#d4af37]Has anyone told you, that you have very pretty eyes? You do." She informed him matter-of-factly before her head snapped toward the bird. Georgie gasped loudly, round eyes fixed on Daphne.

"[color=#d4af37]You are so small! I love you. You are the most precious thing I think I've ever seen in my life. I would die for you." She seemed to be on the verge of tears, looking at the little bird that had come to play her game. "[color=#d4af37]What are you called?"

Daphne supposed that by now she'd be use to such responses. Most people here seemed to think she was weak, helpless, and adorable. While one of those three things could be considered a compliment, she wasn't so sure about how she felt about the first two. Of course, being stuck in the body of a child for most of her life, it wasn't that strange to have people mistake her age and feel the need to look after her. In fact, usually such things worked to her advantage. However, she wasn't part of the Otherworld anymore. She had no reason to deceive these people about her capabilities. Yes, it was true that physically she couldn't do much but she had plenty of useful skills. She'd just have to prove it to them. "Oh, um, thank you!" She supposed that was the proper response. Someone willing to die for you because of how cute you were was a very good thing. "My name's Daphne, it's very nice to meet you. What's your name?"

Two truths and a lie, it seemed, was not her game. Guru only wandered up with her lips pursed a few and her eyes narrowed.
Truthfully, she only showed up for the gossip. If there was going to be some spicy drama, then she was going to be there,
but seeing that there wasn't much of a conversation going on just yet, she figured she'd just take a seat and watch. She'd push for things later on. "I'll take watch in the background, but I will not participate," came her loud words as she entered. After speaking, she took a spot near the front of the crowd.

“[color=#d4af37]Aw. Darling Daphne. I’m Georgie, pleased to meet you!” She responded, practically glowing now. Georgie’s eyes followed Guru as the other approached, perking up noticeably, excited that another friend might be joining.

She visibly deflated when the caracal chose simply to spectate. Oh well. The serval bowed her head in understanding after a short moment. “[color=#d4af37]Okie-dokie. Erm...” Well, it seemed nobody else was really interested, but Georgie wasn’t going to let a small turn-out discourage her. She let out a quick huff. “[color=#d4af37]I guess it’ll just be us three playing for now. Cozy!” If anyone wanted to join in later, she most certainly wouldn’t turn them down, but in the interest of getting the ball rolling, Georgie decided to just start it off already.

“[color=#d4af37]Hm...Hmmm! Hm....ummm!! Okay, I got it. I was the first-born in my litter, I hate fighting, and I’m scared of thunderstorms.”

"Has anyone told you that you have very pretty eyes? You do."

The jackal blinked, brows raising. "Er," he began, but the words he was searching for were nowhere to be found. Whether or not something was "pretty" had never really mattered much in the desert, nor did it matter much here; the concept of beauty was not something he thought about often, if at all. Did he have pretty eyes? Maybe she was just fascinated by the fact that his irises were two different colors. Still, he doubted the compliment would leave his head anytime soon, as few of them did.

When Georgie finally called the game to order, Paper turned his head slightly to the right, perking up his left ear so as to hear more clearly. Her being the firstborn in her litter was certainly possible, but would obviously be difficult for him to verify in this moment. Given her enthusiastic nature, he also wouldn't have been surprised if she hated fighting- sure, it was possible that she enjoyed being on the battlefield, but it seemed unlikely. However, he couldn't see her cowering away from thunderstorms, of all things. Besides, if she really did fear storms, then why would she explicitly say so? There was no benefit to admitting your own weaknesses for something as silly as a game.

"I'm gonna go with 'fear of thunderstorms,'" the jackal said finally, nodding to himself. He supposed he'd have to wait for Daphne to guess before the game continued on, then. Even if it somehow turned out that Georgie really did fear storms, and he ended up looking like a fool, he could at least use the information gained here for future reference.

&& BLOOD CLEARING - NEW BEGINNINGS!
Argus wondered over, the large wolf watching the serval who started the event with an amused gleam. Gorgie? They seemed really hyper and loud, and she hid a small smirk at the slight edge of it. Their eyes a little too focused, and while it wasn't faked, Gorgie wasn't the dumb almost kiddish nature they played off to be.

Animals have already gathered, and ruby hues flickered from each person respectively. This would be the first real social event they went to, and while impressions weren't on the forefront of her mind. It was still there. It would be interesting if anything else. Meeting the rest of the crew.

"I'm guessing the first-born." The wolf replied, sitting down with a smile on her features.

Thus far, it seemed everyone was larger than her -- besides the bird, that is. However, Mei liked this; by virtue of tininess, people tended to underestimate and leave her alone. For an introverted, multi-layered sadist like herself, this worked out just fine. Still, even introverts needed to socialize and make friends, especially in a world like this one. Without friends or allies, even the strongest could find themselves killed in their sleep or toppled by an army of kitten-sized gremlins. How exciting.

Sitting next to Argus, the torbie answered, "I'm also going with first-born." With how large and often animals had litters, that one seemed the most improbable to her.
