The petite sand cat found a sunny spot in the mountain village, her tail twitching as it seemed prone to always do.  Her sandy paws shifted until she was comfortable, bright hues scanning her surroundings for fellow Elysites.  "Hey!" Seemed to be her common greeting, but it got her the attention she wanted.

"Since it's been quiet and we have some new members, I think it'd be good if everyone got to know each other a bit better." They shared a home, they ought to know each other.  The Demdji smiled broadly, certain if she set the example, if she talked comfortable, it'd go better.  She never liked forcing anyone to socialize.  Choice mattered.  "Just state your name, and three interesting facts about yourself."

"I'll start everyone off, then whoever feels comfortable talking next, just talk, alright?" Easy.  "My full name's Tena Moonspinner.  Just call me Tena.  Three facts about me... I'm a Demdji, meaning I'm half-Djinn," a less-spoken item.  Interesting, she hoped.  "I come a desert real far from here and rain is literally my favorite sort of weather now."

[Straw]

  [font=trebuchet ms]An icebreaker activity made some sense, given the leadership change and how most of the newcomers didn't know each other yet. It wasn't Straw's thing, not by a long shot, but it was still probably best that she take part. Besides, it was just Tena right now. The sand cat wasn't judgmental.

  As she approached, Straw listened quietly. A djinn, wasn't that a type of spirit? How would that work? Then again, she'd heard weirder before. A desert-dweller who liked the rain- both of those sounded exactly like Tena.

  Now it was her turn. Right. Clearing her throat, she said, "I'm Straw." Then she had to give three interesting facts. Glancing down at the ground, she furrowed her brows. There wasn't really anything interesting about her; she was just a red panda in a mask, there was nothing more to it. Well, maybe there were some things that might intrigue people, but most of those were things she would prefer to keep private.

  She had to say something, though. "I... like poker?" she said finally, looking back up. "I like climbing things, and..." Something else, what else was there? Raising a paw to her mask, she blinked, then nodded. "Got the mask from a friend."

there wee quite a few interesting facts lil could tell about herself. narrowing it down to three would be easy. the girl padded towad tena and straw, giving them both a pleased smile and sitting down across from them.

"i've never played poker before, are you up for teaching?" gambling wasn't her strongest suit but... it was a nice gesture to ask. though she was terrible at keeping her face hidden of emotion. "i am lilja. i have four brothers, and conri is one of them." she paused, just to give a quick glance for him around. "i study botany and winter is my favorite season."
