Bloody fucking hell.  Wow it had been ages since Fin found themselves tramping back to sunhaven after the flood, nay the floods didn't kill them.  They just vanished, probably from their nagging leech of vamprisim.  The vampire took a deep breath feeling the scents home, a comforting scent amongst many other things.  Things were probably new, and their were plenty new faces.

They wondered if Finnloch or leona were still around?  Not like the white mutant would want anything with the likes of them, and the vampire merchant had come a long way to learn that the fact they had to consume blood in order to remain alive was really off putting to others, so the feline trudged back onto the border, clearing their throat briefly. " Ahem... erm. Anyone around? Finn? Anyone? I'm back.." their voice croaked.

finnloch lifted her head, the femme having been strolling the border in a lost sense of self. she had found a few books in the wreckage of the flood, carefully putting them in a basket at her side to bring them home and repair them. she looked up as she heard her name called, the former med trotting over, "fin? son?" she called out, giving an exclamation and leaping forward when she saw it was fin.

Ah one familar face, the vampire nodded unable still physically smile, a bob of their head confirmed that it was indeed them. "Aye the one and only. It's good to be back."
The vampire looked exhausted, they actually were. Working on very little sleep, and hunger on top of that.  As of right now they wanted was sleep and food, well blood but mostly food.  Depending on which came first of course.

Lo and behold was Leona shortly after Finnloch, tail giving a small swish in greetings to her before landing her gaze on Infirmaryward. Her eyes flashed a glowing red momentarily as something beneath her skin seemed to crawl in irritation.

“Hey, Fin.” The former Solbinder’s tone was oddly passive, as she shifted slightly to adjust her bandages covering her wounds she sustained on her... extended business trip. The linens were fresh now to ensure there would not be infection, and smelled of herbs.

She said nothing else however, and stared at the ground, shuffling her paws and staring at the scars along her forelimbs.

Ah here came their source of self hate. The vampire nodded in greeting at Leona. " hey Leona. Um. How are you? their eye glancing at the newest injuries on the former solbinder. Bloody hell what happened to her. "Stupid question, er sorry for bitting you.. that was really uncalled for and I'm sorry. Truely."

she gave a tender smile, stepping forward and smiling at fin as she stepped forward to brush against him, "welcome home, love" she purred gratefully, rubbing against him.

she nodded in greeting to leona, the medic feeling concern for the other. she had no clue of any backstory between the other and her adopted son.
