There are people who views Them being associated with Determination and Reincarnation, and despite how weak Their Pokémon appears to be, their connection towards each other are powerful enough for Them to even sense what Their Pokémons are feeling, as some theorized. Though, They never speaks about it to anyone and don't ever plan to, hence, this belief is up to debate.

Not finding Themself in a life of using Pokémons to battle nor any jobs there are for Them to take, They decided to be a traveler, with Their adoptive father, Kevin Caito, who was formerly part of Team Rocket. Together, Kevin and Them explores across the universe as they reaches out to those who needs a bit encouragement and guidance.

The first Pokémon They ever have. They met Buddy as a silent child, however, and it certainly surprised Them when They realized he was a Pokémon all along, regardless, They took him with fondness and had them be part of Their team. Buddy often transforms himself into a child, especially when They didn't have anyone at a young age, so They would feel less lonely.
