Tadashi sat down, near his cottage, with a fire blazing at his feet. He simply took some sticks and some flint... plus a sword. The rest is history. Tadashi did not like fires. No. He hated them. With every fiber of his being. However, he knew that a fire was the way to stay warm here. So he tolerated it. He didn’t want to share — but dearest Tashi was supposed to be kind. Supposed to be nice. So he figured he would. Hey some poor, cold souls some warmth. That also meant he could study them.

With a sigh, the Kishu looks back and calls, "If anyone’s cold, I got a fire here!" All he had to do was share the warmth. He wasn’t going to share anything else.

Fires were something Atbash was uncomfortable with, but only those who clearly were not tamed. Her fireplace held flames to it, but she knew that the flames wouldn't move any farther than the place it was contained in. But if said flames were to escape and set fire to her surroundings, it was then Atbash would panic. Still, the sound of a fire cackling sent chills up the savannah's spine, but she forced down her worries as she made her way over to Tadashi and his campfire. "Thank you, Tadashi." She chirped, dipping her head. "I'm sure everyone will appreciate this, as well." Especially with it becoming colder seemingly each day.

fire was the warmth that fought of the gelid cold and protected them from the deadly embrace of winter. fire was heat and life.

fire was also beautifully, powerfully destructive.

perhaps that was why she liked it so-- took comfort in something utterly lethal and yet pretty. absorbed the magnificent sight of the blossoming flame, the satisfying crackle and hiss against the wood it was nested from. the entrancing effects it often held upon her was dangerous.

"aah, if i'd have known you were going to do this, i would have brought marshmellows!"

cheeky grin settled onto her fine features, the icestriker wandered towards the blazing inferno like a moth drawn to flame.

"smores sound nice right about now... a high voice trailed off in the quiet subtlety of hunger.
