Today appeared to be one of those days that Gordon could actually relax and she was honestly... relieved. Back when she lived in The Ascendants, she always felt on edge - and although that's normal for her, she felt on edge there due to the pressure of being a semi-high position and feeling the need the be everywhere. Here, in Sunhaven, things were much tamer and the main camp wasn't as bustling with activity as The Ascendants was. So Gordon lay in a sunny patch, contently taking a nap. One that she was able to actually relax. It felt... nice, if she was honest.

Ilijas had never been in a place quite like Sunhaven. Compared to the vast and untamable wilderness from which he originated, he could only describe his new home as docile. There was no fight for survival, no frigid temperatures or gnawing hunger, just a certain comfort that he had never before experienced. It made adjusting hard, admittedly, but as each day came and concluded, he felt more confident with this whole 'group living' responsibility thing. The wild no longer defined him, perhaps it had never, and it was nice to be free from its expectations and demands- even if he did miss the adrenaline and the remoteness that certain, dangerous locations provided him. He had Beverly here too, living with him in his house. That was enough to sate the desire to leave everything behind and return to the evergreen shadows from which he had appeared. She would always be enough for him.

The male had been wandering absently around when he just so happened to come across Gordon, a frown twisting his lips as he regarded her sleeping form. He didn't dare wake her but it occurred to him that he may have bumped her on accident, probably so lost in thought that he hadn't realized until it had been too late. Yikes. [color=#454843]"Uh...
