AFTERMATH — open, snowbound visit

henri had signed up to the ambassador to the moonlight vale with reckless abandon. he was fucking blind, why did he choose to do it? he had assumed he'd be accompanied by kirishima, but kirishima packed up and left so it was just henri. atbash had asked him to visit, to fulfill his duties, so he did so willingly. he had trekked all this way by himself, and it took him a few days. he had stopped to sleep and eat, but that was it.

when he finally arrived he was tired and uncomfortable from the journey, but wouldn't let it show. no, if he wanted to fit in he'd play his part well. what made the trek so difficult was the fact that with him he had brought gifts in a hand-woven basket. in the basket, there was all sorts of things that henri thought a clan would like- some food and herbs. he took a moment to clear his head, getting in the right frame of mind to communicate. he exhaled, then grinned. "greetings and salutations, moonlight vale! i'm henri, from snowbound. i've brought gifts!" he said, eyes squeezed shut.

Tsuyu followed shortly behind her groupmate, hopping awkwardly to stand beside the taller male. She decided it would have been better to follow him, since she was also the Moonlight Vale ambassador, just to get a feel for the job.

Charcoal eyes seemed to stare blankly at the Moonlight's territory, before snapping her gaze to the basket he had brought. Her long, frog-like tongue slipped from her mouth, brushing debris from her muzzle as she waited, silently.

Visitors? That was also a custom in this world? To be honest, it had slightly surprised Jirou that anyone could visit other groups. Though, nothing was impossible, she supposed. Since she was the first one on the scene, she didn't know what to say to these "Snowbounders" so the young bat would fly over and land on the ground, covering most of her body with her wings.

"Thanks." Jirou would say to Henri before she would look towards Tsuyu, a confused look on her facial features. Why did this female look so familiar?
