[size=9pt]Moon makes space for himself. He squeezes into situations without invitation, makes them stretch to fit him, undoubtedly makes a scene, and once he leaves, it slacks. Space left unfilled. A previously Moon-ful area is so obviously Moon-less when he's gone.
He'd left camp Yesterday, out with various errands to run, but it's possible he'd drifted just a bit too close to the border and now, the only thing left was his faint, fading scent. No loud comments or biting humor, the wind blows, undisturbed, through the plains, past the border. And at that exact border is nothing but grass, flowers, and an intensely violet stem of borage leaves with a distinct piece of lion's mane attached to it.
Not to point fingers, but there was something fishy about it all.
