[align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; line-height:115%; text-align: justify;font-family: calibri;"][ I didn't copy paste,,, what,,, also I'll totally be able to manage two characters in the same clan,,, totally,, ]

It had been about a year.

Eleven long months had passed since Des had last had contact with a group bigger than a few select individuals, staying clear of such places for fear of two things. One, that the events of his past would reemerge and he'd end up becoming more screwed up in the head than he already was... but more prevalent was the fear of getting attached. He had done that once, gotten attached, and it had gone just about as well as anything had for him (which was to say, not at all.) The more people there were, the more chances that he would end up having some sort of sentimental feelings towards those who either wanted him to die or who would die themselves eventually, whether by his own bullet or someone else's. Desperado didn't get good things in his life. This wasn't any different, never had been and never would be.

He had left everything he knew once again after things went awry as a result of that. It had been a year since he had seen his former clan members, nearing three years since he'd last seen his former gang. The latter he didn't mind too much, although the former left an ache in his chest that was only curable by forgetting, which was one of the main reasons that he had picked up an addiction sometime between then and now. It had worked for the first few months, but now both the alcohol, the drugs and the cigarettes didn't do much for him anymore.

It was an addiction that was killing him without even working anymore, and he didn't even have half a mind to care.

He didn't have a mind to care about anything much, really, but he actively avoided that train of thought whenever it came up. He'd get somewhere eventually, whether he cared or didn't, and he found that the longer he dwelled on his past and future the worse his migraines became so it became easier to pretend like everything was alright to avoid them.

Now, he was standing on the border of another group, about to face strangers who didn't know him and or his past, and probably didn't care much for his future... and he felt just as empty as he always did, if only a little bit lighter knowing that he could start over again here.

he knew what it was like to feel empty; to want to start over, perhaps forget everything that happened before coming here. it wasn't something a three month old child should want, most would say, but it was a cruel world. he knew that too. he just tried to see the good in everything. though the man standing at the edge of the beach was certainly an unsettling figure, junji still approached, shuffling through the hot white sand until he was a few steps away from the male.

"hi," the kitten mewed in greeting, offering the canine a smile. "i'm junji. are you here to join?" he queried sweetly, tail waving lazily in the cool ocean breeze.

The apathetic feline walked through their clueless life doing their best to learn all they can about the world they woke up into. They didn't need friends or family or anyone for that matter. Such things would only take the attention away from more pressing matters such as learning. The only things they felt any definitive way towards was the beach, the many hues and shades of the colour blue and soaking in as much knowledge as their brain could hold. None of which needs any sort of relationship involving complicated emotions like love, or hate or even happiness. They were all unnecessary in their book. They were sure even if they were able to feel any sort of way- if they possessed the capabilities of feeling and articulating their emotions, they would only further prove their point of them getting in the way. The Privateer's judgments and decisions were always unbiased and based solely on logic as emotions weren't needed. It would be illogical - and in some cases, extremely inconvenient - not to take the sensible route in situations. How an individual feels dims in comparison to what should be done for the well-being of another. When caught in a trap, the wolf doesn't wait in hopes a kind human would aid it. It chews its own leg off in order to survive. Removing ones own limb isn't something someone would want to do, Cronas understands that much. But when the options are: wait for a human that may or may not have been the one to set up the trap in the first place, die of starvation, be killed by another creature due to vulnerability or remove the caught limb and continue on with its life, logic rules over everything. The decision may prove to be difficult, but it still needs to get done. Companionship and emotions doesn't hold a light to logic in their opinion.

Visiting the beach had become their norm as they found comfort in the sound of crashing waves and the smell of salt in the air. They were about to wad into the water, but stopped when they noticed two creatures standing a bit farther down. Long whiskers twitched in curiosity as they turned and walked towards them, their curiosity growing when they realized neither creature looked familiar. Coming to a stop next to Junji, the pale feline sat down and wrapped their long tail around their paws. With their head tilted slightly to the side, they watched the other with empty, but observant icy blue optics.

[align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; line-height:115%; text-align: justify;font-family: calibri;"]/ h e ck,,, tha n k,,, im love you,, anyways I suck at joining threads therefore this reply will be mediocre at best, especially since it's almost 1 in the morning and im dying scoob

It was common practice among all groups, it seemed, to arrive out of seemingly nowhere as if carried by intuitive instinct towards the border whenever something new happened. Or a few individuals just always happened to be at the right time and place, and then the small crowds started to amass due to the concept of 'mob mentality.' It wasn't a criticism, however, merely an observation that caused his maw to twitch up in a slight smile when two children were the first to appear.

So young and yet already so actively engaged. Great.

"As a matter of fact, I am. Guessing that no one really comes around for anything other, do they? If you're out here asking these kinds of questions?"

IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD !
CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. OFFICER.
It wasn't hard to find somebody near the border, which was why most people found themselves near it often. "Sometimes a group comes by to invite us to shit but that's about it." Caesar said in response as he came over, shrugging a bit whenever he stopped walking. "Welcome to The Typhoon. Name's Officer Caesar Cipher."

The frequent patrol of the border meant whoever had business with them didn't have to wait long for someone to arrive. A shorter waiting time meant things would get done quickly and all parties could go back to whatever they were previously doing. Blinking slowly, the child didn't spare a glance at Caesar as he approached, though they did flick an ear in greeting. If they heard correctly, Desperado was here to join. Fine by them. More information to squeeze out of him. Dipping their head, they introduced themselves flatly. "Cronas is Cronas. Cronas welcomes the stranger to the Typhoon." Lifting their head once more, they thought for a moment before continuing. "Does the stranger have a name?" Came their inquiry, realizing he hadn't told them his name.
