There was much to be done before they went out and did something big to let everyone know they were back better than ever. Everyone was so focused on what the war council or whatever was doing, which was reasonable for normal animals. However, the calico had far different objectives, did not think so much of what the council was doing. Jiyu was dead set on what would need to happen for the council to become sustainable instead of what needed to happen to get ranks running or something ridiculous like that. Why should she care about ranks? She was a guard even if no ranks existed, what she did would never change even if she didn't formally have the rank she was going to do what needed to be done. Everyone was so focused on the animals themselves that very few if any cats besides herself realized they had been gone from the mansion for a long time, there was an infestation of prey animals whose droppings could pose danger to kits, there could be new holes in the walls, new ways in, so many things they didn't know about the very place they called home.

Jiyu would not be some cat who got caught unaware by the enemy, not be the animal who was suddenly unable to protect those she loved. Simply having some of her oldest friends around? Was motivation enough, but now she had her mother and it was very possible some of her kits may show up again! The calico could not risk any of them getting hurt, she had to secure everything before that could happen. In result of the fierce internal obessive love that existed in the mostly dead looking feline? The head of the Simul Stamus had not stopped running around the mansion since the day she arrived back. Every single day the calico was doing something that would benifit her ability to protect everybody! Today was going to be no expection to that trend, she didn't know what yet but there was certainly something that needed to be done to protect everyone she held dear from some unknown threat. Paws softly touched against the wooden floors making no sound as she crept through the mansion without alerting her fellow rose's to the fact she was wandering around. Jiyu didn't want to be noticed until she had something to push other's into doing, she didn't have for their aimless chatter, she needed to protect them.

Eventually, in her slinking, the calico realized what needed to be done for today. Now, she ventured into one of the rooms where her group was known to socialize, standing tall as she walked into the middle of whoever happened to be there. "Anyone who wants to do something, the dungeon needs checked to make sure it's still secure and everything we use down there still works." they could test any torture implements or what not on some random mouse scuttering down there. "And clear it of any prey that moved down there since we've been gone so prisoners don't accidently get fed." she had heard them scurrying around down there, dark and damp was perfect for things like mice.
