Ivan laided down and rolled over onto his back at the sight of Anakin, looking up at him. Some sick dog part of him was happy to see him, but Ivan reasoned: Didn’t he use me?
"There’s not need to do that." the ghost said, prompting him to stand and pant. Ivan ripped away his mask and stared at Anakin, tail wagging.

”There’s things I need to ask you....”

The ghost nodded.
”Did you use me? And where’s my demon?”

[div style="text-align: justify;"]The lion paused as the dog asked his question. He deserved to know. Anakin sighed a moment, head tilting down then looking at the dog. He stepped off the water and onto the mortal earth. "Ivan-"
”Zimavich.”
"Zimavich. I think that, what Vader did, what I did to you- is the most sinful and horrible thing I did. I took advantage of a disabled bear." he admitted, taking in a breath as he heard the dog growl, then whine.
"I saw your memories, and I saw the memories of your demon." Quiet. "So I decided to use you. You were a very, very powerful bear, Zimavich. I was commanding an army and I wanted you at my right hand."

”What did you do with my demon? Who was he?”

"Winter. That’s why your name is Zimavich. Ivan, Son of Winter. I killed him, and that, from my understanding, gave me the rights to your curse. Vader made a copy of both your memories.”

The bear dog was quiet for a few long moments, glancing to the cross and the eyepatch under his dirty scarf.
”Will you set my soul free, Anakin?”

He was silent as he waited for the lion to answer him.
“I will.”
Ivan’s tail wagged.
”If you can do one last thing for me, Zimavich.”
Zimavich’s tail stopped and he growled, giving Anakin the stink-eye. ”What is it?”
The lion stepped forward, lifting a paw. ”I need you to find Sekai. I need you to kill the Emperor at any cost. That is my final task for you, Ivan.”
The bear dog thought for a few moments, then sighed, nodding. ”I’ll do it, Anakin.” he turned, ready to leave.

”One more thing...” he said, beckoning Ivan over. ”I’m going to give your memories back. They won’t come all at once. Give it time.”
The dog’s tail wagged and he sat down, Anakin reaching forward and pressing his nose to his forehead.

He saw a scared little boy. He saw Winter. He saw the bear.

Anakin gave him the image of the black leopard, his target. He gave with his memories, a vital piece of knowledge. How to control his Shapeshifting. Then the ghost vanished, and Ivan turned and left to head home.
