It had been barely a day and yet Lirim was already tired of their old body. It was old and worn down, scarred and mottled, a constant link to their past self that, in this existence, had never actually existed. Here, these scars meant very little, even if they still carried history elsewhere.

Only they were tying themselves down to this body, no one else. They controlled their past and their future, and right now... they wanted to be free yet again. Their old body, although never dispensable, was obsolete... it was high time for a change.

The transformation hadn't been anything grand, nothing magical. It simply looked like they shed their outer skin, revealing something better underneath it, and not even the small dragon-like creature seemed to care enough to announce it. It had happened in just short of a few seconds, and then Lirim was on their way again, oblivious to the fact that many would most likely not recognize them and question their presence, especially given that they weren't well known to begin with yet.

"Picked a new ride?" Bastille greeted idly sometime later, when he wandered past and noted that Lirim's aura was attached to a stranger. He was familiar with shapeshifting, after all, and was unbothered as his let his gaze shift over this new body lazily before he added, "Huh. Cool, I guess. Entirely new or an older one coming back out?"

Gordon had, of course, been there at Lirim's joining, but as stated before, he wasn't really well-known just yet, and having a new body right after you just joined was an uncommon occurrence. Gordon really didn't like confrontation, but... it seemed like she was the only one around right now. But just as she was about to step out, she realized that there was, in fact, somebody around, and Bastille's voice soon filled her ears. The little she-cat decided to come out from her hiding place in the bushes, coming up beside the leader. "Who is this?" She asked, not recognizing Lirim.

Suiteheart was no stranger to shifting forms. The white feline had transformed into a polar bear more than once, and she had even occupied the body of an american bob-tailed feline when she lost her memories all those months ago. She was used to her friends changing too. She liked that kind of stuff. It was just interesting to behold.

The deputy hadn't be there for Lirim's joining, unfortunately. She had, however, seen him in passing and heard about him. Unable to see his aura like Bastille, she was as lost as Gordon. Coming to stand with the group, the fae offered Lirim a smile. "You look sick," she purred, interest heavily marking her gaze. He looked cool as hell! "Oh, uh, I mean sick in a good way - no worries!"
