the turtle was bored. swimming in a circle in the pool of water outside aesior's home. he was always in the water. after all, he hates walking on land. he is far slower. so, the man swam in circles until he heard paws. popping to the surface to see a face he did not know and huffing.

the turtle would swim to the edge and crawl out a tiny bit to sun himself. eyes flicking to the door before he looked forward again. always lurking in the murk or basking in the sun. everyone knew where to find him.
