silent paws guided her towards camp once more. a bundle of moss dangling in her maw as she moved along. she had been out all morning and was not happy about going back home. yet, she knew it was best to do so before it became to dark. the sun was setting and she was moving along rather slowly.

the moon was rising when she got home to an almost dead camp. most were sleeping, outside the camp guards and a patrol that was heading out as she came in. the molly took her moss to the elders den and placed it in an empty den. she was sure the elder would return from making dirt or getting a drink soon enough. the new moss would be better than the dirt.

turning, she heads off to sleep alone in the corner. settling in and watching the shadows move around her.

she wouldn't be alone for long, cindershout himself returning from doing his own small duties around camp, and avoiding the most tense of the warriors and apprentices. it wouldnt be surprising if they all decided to throw the towel in and start a big brawl. it would be the least surprising to him, he was used to seeing how they all acted when in close spaces.

stretching out stiff legs, the elderly tom would yawn as he stepped into the elder den, setting down a bundle of moss and burdock that he'd gone out scavenging for. well, it was something akin to a den, at the very least. it was similar to his mentors from so many years ago. inhaling and exhaling, stepping out of his stretch he would give a mew of greeting, "late evening to you, frogpool," he chuckled, stepping towards the nests with a grumble of another yawn, "might be asleep on my paws all too soon.", he mused as he stepped into one of the nests, appreciative of the moss that she'd brought herself, "how did the day find you?"
