beck likes being the only ghost around because he is v territorial and hostile when it comes to fellow spirits, seeing as they can leech off his energy to strengthen their own. as far as his thoughts on his ghostlihood, beck tries to pretend he is still alive in his weird ways so he doesn't consider himself special
