But she's goin' and exploring." Stefflon yawned, then turned to look at the town.

Atbash tried to hide her worry at the question Lucinder asked, followed by Stefflon echoing the question. "H-hopefully soon." Was the only way she could answer. "We're all getting tired of the heat, but we're trying our best to work things out. I believe your mother was planning on sending a couple Tanglers to The Typhoon." She went on. "They're our allies, they should help us in this time of need."

Despite being tired, hungry, and downright exhausted, Arrow still made damn sure that every interaction was maintained with the level of optimism and energy that she always had, self declared herself to be That Guy. And if anyone on this bitch of an Earth would see her die before she officially gave up would be her kids, not that she actually would want them to see her go. They didn’t have to know about the first time.

Offering a cheerful smile to the Vassal the moment she saw the woman interacting with Stefflon and Lucinder, Arrow looked down at her sun with a raise of her brow. ”Technically we’re the pond dwellers, buddy. You’ll see, when the rains come back.” The Typhoon. Right, other than maybe food and extra supplies, she wasn’t sure what they could provide, if that would even come. It was impossible to tell if they were in a state to even share and play nice given how everyone had been seemingly struck with something lately.

Pond dwellers, that definitely wasn't The Typhoon. More like ocean dwellers, but Atbash appreciated Arrow's presence and trying to make a joke out of the situation. "If The Typhoon has anyone who can manipulate water," The savannah thought out loud, her focus mainly on Arrow as if she just gotten a great idea. "Then maybe we can all work together to manipulate the weather. It's hard to do it just as one person, but maybe a group of us...?"

Ximen cracked open an eye. Damned loud kids, waking him up in the middle of his nap. Wasn’t midday for sleeping? It was too damned troublesome to do anything else in this heat.

“Fucking right it’s too hot,” the cheetah said, fanning himself with his leathery wings. The man’s golden eyes blinked the flies away. If it weren’t for the wings and his blinks, the splayed feline could’ve been mistaken for dead. He never moved much, not unless he needed to.

He yawned, licked his teeth, and blinked at his nephew and niece. Niblings? Was that the term? Ugh. The heat addled his fucking bran.

“Doubt even water elementals could pull water from a stone. Not like there’s much to draw on, yeah?” he said to Atbash. He yawned again. “Might be good to ask, good point, those fucking pirates gotta have watery… water people.” Fuck, he yawned again. “Everyone knows what Ximen means, yeah? Good idea. Should definitely do. Maybe trade some, IDK—” He pronounced this, literally, with the three letters only. “—gatorskin or moonshine. Pirates always need more alcohol. Stereotype, ha.”
