She grinned to Bai, walking up to them and running her good forepaw against the path. As they spoke about the boulders, she started to limp ahead, reading the carved names quietly to herself. She stopped to read more clearly, letting Bai pass her and leap over the root. When she quietly dipped her head toward the boulders she had read, a sign of respect she made for herself when she couldn't find words, she turned to the root and leapt upon it.. almost, anyway.

Landing on the root with three legs was hard enough - balancing was even harder. Her body teetered on the root as she struggled to grip it with her claws. A strangled 'eeeahhhm' came from her throat as she looked around to try and find out how to get out of the situation.

the sound she made, mixed with the sound of her claws caught their attention quickly, diving to grab at her scruff, instincts telling them to catch her before they recognised that their body had moved. gently moving to pull her up, they reached out a paw to steady her, "easy there" they murmured, quickly sniffing her to decide if it would be easiest to carry her down. no, that would hurt her. "here. follow the root to where it merges with the ground." they advised, cautiously jumping over her to stand by her rump, ready to balance her. "apologies, i'm too big to fit under." they murmured, flustered by the small incident.

raising their head to drink in the scents around them, they yawned, leaping down to the ground to catch her weight should she fall. they were uneasy here in the open, unaware of the mists creeping in slowly, the ghosts of the territory excited to sense another being in their land.

A quick 'eep!' was thrown into the air from Asteri, her paws scrabbling before managing to catch onto some divets within the root. She stayed still as Bai Shi leapt over her, then looked to see where the Root met with the ground. "Why wasn't obvious to me." She said jokingly, looking at Bai Shi. Slowly, she started to shuffle down toward the bottom of the root, cautious as the mist began to close in. She wasn't worried that she wouldn't be able to see ahead, it was the underlying fear that something could hide within the fog. Eventually, she did reach the ground, stumbling a small bit as she got off the root.

        Sam has been running around damp in the mist keeping moving since when she was little she learnt that dangers is always nearby and the ghosts are an adjetation even when they ate bot currently present. She heard a scream and she halted and spun around to where she heard it being very alert she stalked in the fog closer to the sound. She smelled a different sent that is not really one of the residents. Seems like they are with Bai but she had to let out a growl. They have moved somewhat to where they were when the one screamed and they looked like standing shadows but she can just barly see them right now. She need to know if this person is a threat because one always comes.
