Izuku doesn't usually like to swear, much less in English, but -- where the fuck is he. There's a bandanna wrapped around his eyes, because he's injured and trying to see isn't worth the migraine, thank you, but somehow Izuku's wanderings lead him to where he is now. Which is -- exactly nowhere. There's a river rushing next to his hears, and with a few sniffs of the air, he's -- oh. How'd he get here? Izuku's nose scrunches in his puzzlement, but it's gone quickly, if only because of the deep ache it causes. Moving just about anything on his face still kind of hurts -- the wounds were kinda deep. They'd been getting treated just fine, though -- Izuku had been doing his best to do them on his own but. He couldn't see. So Izuku did get help -- mostly Jacob, because the other was, in fact, the superior medic here, but sometimes other people.
Oh, but he's getting distracted. How'd he find his way to the field? This is puzzling and a little concerning(he hadn't even had to cross the river!!), especially because Izuku isn't sure how to get home from here. He shouldn't be this far out -- how hadn't he realized that he'd walked that far? At the very least, though, once Aizawa notices he's been missing for particularly long, this'll probably be one of the first places he checks. Unless he thinks it's too out for little blind, injured Izuku. (he's kidding. Aizawa should know by now that no injury, big or small, would even cause Izuku's pace to falter.) That's not ideal, though -- he doesn't want to get chewed out for leaving the territory on his own. But Izuku doesn't want to inconvenience anyone with his restlessness, even though a few people have offered to chaperone Izuku.
It's kind of comforting, though, being surrounded by the tall grass and plants again. He'd met Amunet here, where he'd become aware of the groups. It'd taken a week on his own before he guiltily left the field to join a group -- he'd been separated from Todoroki for a few weeks at least by that point, and Izuku just couldn't put up with the paranoia of being on his own. He doesn't really regret it, though -- he missed the bicolor a lot, of course, but he's content as he is in Snowbound. He felt comfortable being there and no, that wasn't just because of Uraraka and Aizawa's presence. That helped, but they didn't even really like it there? It was cold. Izuku, however, had come to prefer the cold, and the field, for the chill in the air, was almost too warm for Izuku's tastes. He liked his clanmates, though(yes, all of them, even cry. maybe not hisoka, but the other had been absent anyways), and the traditions, and he even liked his position as Tenderfoot. I mean, he wasn't great at medicine, it always got messy in his head, but he liked it! He likes being surrounded by people again, and he's not sure he'd give it up again even if given the option.
Still, in the field, Izuku sighs. There's not a lot to do here besides nap and grab some herbs. But Izuku can't carry anything, and he doesn't trust his conjuration right now. Oh well. The Maine Coon's tail swishes as he pokes about, nabbing a little marigold as he spots it, and tucks it behind his ear. It was a poor substitute for the flower crowns he'd made last time, but he liked it. A little more restless wandering, and Izuku finds himself perched on a tree branch, grinning wide. Killua had taught him to climb trees, a while ago -- Izuku had gotten better, enough that he could do this even with his apparent lack of sight. He felt safer in trees, anyways -- he was a little more open and easy to spot than he was in the grass, but not everyone could climb. Or, if they could, were determined enough to climb just to beat him, apparently. What was even with that? Izuku hadn't done anything to them.

What the hell was he going to do?

Believe it or not, Todoroki was currently in the same boat as Izuku was. He had no idea where he was and did not know how to get back home. All he understood was that he had fucked up. There was no question about it, he was the one at fault for losing Midoriya this time. If he had just been more aware of his surroundings, they might have been able to avoid the strange portal that had teleported them to another world. Even if it had been their fate, it could have been manipulated somehow. He wished he had been given a sign. And while the turkish van mix blamed himself for the mess he had brought them, he knew deep down, that he was not to blame for this. He was merely an animal and had no control of destiny. If he had never influenced Midoriya to leave the Thunderlands then there might have been a chance that the boy's disappearance would have been avoided. And while it was possible, the fact that they were going to be transported away was inevitable. They had to be sent away from the other universe, one way or another. In Todoroki's opinion, it was as if the universe was making fun of them. What was the point of them reuniting when they were just going to lose each other again? What made it worse was that he had been forced to witness Midoriya disintegrate right before his eyes this time. There had been no warning, no goodbye, no nothing. The last thing he saw was the crying face of his comrade. It was so unfair and frustrating. The ex-Thunderlander had been within his reach for a few days, yet the world had somehow taken them away from him. And no matter how much he moaned and groaned, there would have been no point as it would not have brought the green feline back. Perhaps this was the world telling him to give up on being with the younger male, that his efforts were fruitless. If he continued to have hope, he would have just been tricked into failure. That was what the gods above might have been trying to say? It was either that or it was a game. In some ways, it was similar to that one video game known as Mario. He was the plumber that had to save the princess Peach. In this case (since this was his point of view), Peach was Midoriya. The point of the game was to go through the levels until the player eventually saved the damsel in distress. Maybe that was the point in all of this? They would have continued to be transported into different worlds in order to find one another. If it was like that, then the Japanese speaker wanted to know when it would have all come to an end. Was there something that they had to do in order to be freed from all of this? He continued to muse over this idea until he let out a sigh. God, he was so stupid. Why the hell was he wasting his time pondering over dumb shit like this? The bottom line to all of this was that Midoriya was still missing and he had already failed the "mission". Game over. His punishment was that he was going to be stuck in the middle of nowhere forever and that was that. The pale creature furrows his implied brows together while he makes his way through the fields that greet him. It annoys him how worry-free the wild grass appears, swaying in the wind without a care in the world. If only he and Midoriya were like that. The lost domestic feline stopped to rub the back of his neck before he continued to pad deeper and deeper into the territory. Once he catches sight of a stranger on a nearby tree branch, he figures that now is a good time to ask around for help. "Excuse me, could I have a bit of your time?" he inquired a bit louder than his normal voice, which a was a lot more quieter.
