Roy's anger stoked the flames of Bastille's, and he hated that he agreed with the shady fucker, but he did. Oh, he agreed whole heartedly -- taking Luna and attacking Roy should be considered acts of war, and Starry actually wanted to reason with Beck. It sounded like a shitty joke, and just thinking about Luna going unavenged made his blood boil with irritation. His eyes were cold, but he forced himself to keep his mouth shut, well aware that if he let himself speak, he'd lose it.

His gaze snapped to Maes, and he scowled slightly, irritated with the amount of hostility being shown towards Starry. Sure, he didn't agree with their Seraph, and he was pissed about the course of action, but he was willing to trust Starry and let him try this stupid peace talk. If shit went south, they could raid that dirty ass swamp and still say they at least tried. Fine. That was fair enough, even if he wanted to raid them right now.

"Shut the hell up and just listen to our fucking Seraph, jackass," he snapped, evidently breaking his own promise to keep his mouth shut. He went quiet as Suite spoke, grudgingly admitting that she made a fair point -- so many of them didn't even know how to fight, Starry roughly included. Bast wouldn't mind fighting Beck any way, but he had to agree that they probably couldn't handle a war just yet, even if he really fucking wanted one.

He watched Starry as he spoke, scowling. He rarely saw this sense of assertiveness from their leader, but he supposed it was good to see he had a damn spine in all of that glittery mush. Regardless, it seemed that Starry had already considered their strategic advantages, which was... interesting. A good sign, really, but not one that Bast would have expected from him. Sure, he was still angry, but he felt vaguely better assured that Starry was entirely oblivious to the potential for war here. Huffing, the corporal stayed quiet.
Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door.   [sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup]
