Summer's heat was almost overbearing, but in the early morning, the warmth was pleasant. Besides that, the breeze that swept up from the waters helped greatly with the heat.

Dovedeparture let her gaze pass over the many individuals who mingled around Barracuda Bay. Deciding enough Typhoon members were present, she lifted her voice: "Hello, everyone. Please, gather around for some weekly tasks." She had caught wind of these things, and she quite liked the idea of them. Why not host a little session?

Padding over at the call of her friend's voice, Celeste grinned and gave a wave of her tail as she approached the winged lynx. "Hi, can I get a weekly task and a side order of fries?" She said, continuing the gag Elijah had started when the duo joined.

Approaching the pair timidly, Starry hesitated before sitting back and mumbling softly as he flicked his gaze back and forth between the two females, "May I have something to do as well...?" He liked helping out around the group, and even though the newcomers made him a bit nervous, perhaps Dove would be good at giving tasks.

Retracting them, she offered a lopsided grin as she listened to her friend speak. "No Strawberry Sunrise this time?" she questioned, tilting her head. "Why don't you hold a training session so everyone can sharpen up on their fighting abilities? Just - be careful."

She shifted her attention to Starlightbrigade then. He seemed a little less nervous than when she had first met him, which was pleasing. She wasn't too happy with the thought of frightening off her new groupmates. "Hmm... why don't you hold a class on constellations?" Try as she might, she couldn't figure them out here, and he seemed, well, more than capable. His fur practically mirrored the night sky.

He came over nonetheless, a part of him wanting to seek out the reasoning for the gathering of people that were present.

“Since everyone else is taking one, I guess I’ll have one as well. Whatever these are.” Tanteri squawked in his usual ever-loud tone. His beak clicked a few times, head swiveling after he finished his shout.

— a dull grey pteranodon with a blue crest, which has a jagged cut in the front-center. He has a reddish brown stripe that goes down his spine and jags out in triangles onto his shoulders. His beak is yellow, but turns blue as it goes closer to his face. His wings are a deeper grey, with blue dots surrounding the section that connects the webbing to his torso. He has three talons on each wing which are used for picking up objects and slashing. His feet are small and connected to his wings by his ankles. His tail is long and mutated. Six prongs stick off of the tail, with the same dark grey webbing as his wings connecting them. These prongs have spikes on the end. The webbing on his tail also has navy blue dots where the webbing connects to his tail. His eyes are a light blue, with a deeper blue pupil.

She pondered for a moment, before remembering they were a healer. She would love to learn more about it, and she assumed others would as well. "Perhaps you can hold a seminar on healing! I'm sure we could all benefit from learning how to patch ourselves up if there's ever a time when you're overwhelmed." As far as she knew, they were the only healer here. She could only imagine how overwhelming that might be at times. This might lessen the load.

She started at Tanteri's voice. Her ears pinned back at the sudden onset of loud noise, but after a tick, they lifted again. Dovedeparture extended the pterasaur a grin. "Weekly tasks are little jobs members as assigned. They can be anywhere from trainings to fun activities. It gives us all something to do, and it helps promote a better sense of community as well, I believe." The angel pursed her lips, thinking. "Why don't you put on a little fishing contest? The winner can have bragging rights - or a trophy, your choice - and later, everyone can sit down for a nice meal."

They were certainly an interesting individual - quiet, reserved. Dovedeparture studied them for a moment, before speaking: "Pleasure to see you again, snake charmer." A glimmer of amusement burned bright in her green irises. "Why don't you put together a little meet and greet for everyone? We've had an influx of joiners recently, and I think it would be great for everyone to get to know each other and connect as a whole."
