While it may seem like a lot to place on the female, given everything that is happening, Goldie is excited for the beginning of these competitions. She's experimenting and learning, and figures she'll have a better execution next month for them all, but is still eager to see how it plays out this first try. The tigress enjoys giving something entertaining for her crewmates, she knows how hard they all have to work at times. "Oi, t' all those who signed up for the competitions, an' of course, anyone who wants t' watch, come along for the pirate's trivia!" she called out loudly, a grin upon her features. The female would wait for the competitors to arrive before announcing the first question.

Mars flicks her tail, padding to her leaders call. Her mind races with all the things she knows - how there's a large amount of gold naturally forming the water, how a large part of it was unexplored, and how the watery depths house the largest waterfall known to them. Her mouth waters at the prospect of winning - and even more so if there's a prize. Oh how she hoped it was gold - though she supposed beating others would be a fun win to!
She pauses, sitting down not to far away from the leader. Game on.

stars did fall

idyll follows along excitedly, looking around to their other crewmates. it was a friendly competition, but the coyote would be lying to say they didn't feel their chest bubbling with adrenaline to get their win. although there were quite a few participating in the trivia...

like mars, idyllfields begins to mentally prepare themselves where they can. most of the knowledge they know about the seas comes from their studies of astrology and learning about the gods they and their father believe in. other than that, they're confident in their abilities.

The spotted jaguar wandered up with her colorful eyes on what laid before her. Needless to say, her competitors looked strong. After all, they were her fellow pirates and they knew when to take a challenge seriously. Would she be any match against them though? That was something for her to figure out though, seeing that she hadn't met many of them yet. With a hopeful attitude, she awaited a question.
