    [font=times new roman][size=24pt]CONQUEST/GREENSIDE

WHO ARE WE, AND WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
Conquest/Greenside is a group that seeks to bring about an era of peace by uniting all the clans in the nation under one, by any means necessary. They believe in seeing justice served, taking the initiative, in protecting the innocent, and perhaps most of importantly of all their motto, 'by any means necessary'. More than anything this is a group who understands that peace cannot be truly gained without sacrifice and extreme measures, and they do whatever is needed to protect the innocent and destroy the wicked. Their territory is known as Greenside, and here a community of peaceful creatures is known to live within the walls of a beautifully restored private school. They are a happy people from all walks of life- cooks, gardeners, farmers, blacksmiths, families, etc- and they are protected by a fierce and unwavering militia that keeps them safe at all costs. This militia, Conquest, are responsible for the assimilation of the others groups and the destruction/containment of the evil that walks this earth. They are the soldiers who sacrifice so that the ones they protect don't have to, and while these members are usually neither cruel nor war mongerers, they understand that there is a price to pay for true peace, and that sometimes bad things must be done in order to achieve their goal. Conquests main goal is to assimilate all the good people into their ranks, and to imprison or execute those that wish to commit evil. Therefore people are often forced to join the community of Greenside, or face the threat of being imprisoned for desire to incite mutiny.

"We will bring peace, by any means necessary."

    THE TERRITORY & MAIN HEADQUARTERS
    general territory info
Conquests main territory is known as Greenside, and it's a beautiful place.  Rolling hills of lush green grass, speckled with occasional trees along their grassy slopes, stretch out in all directions for as far as the eye can see. All around you is open space and above you the sky stretches out in a dizzying expanse, uninterupted by tree canopies or mountains or human buildings. In fact, the human influence in these parts is very limited, only two structures existing.

    camp
    Spoiler:
The first is the Headquarters, which is an abandoned private school located in the center of Greenside. It's a grand and massive thing that was restored to it's former glory after much care, and it's sturdy stone structure provides excellent shelter against the elements and enemy attacks. Many of the ground floor classrooms have been cleared out and turned into various activity rooms by the members, such as art rooms, music rooms, miniature greenhouses, etc. Members are welcome to customize the empty rooms and use them for various events or activities. This is where the social hubs of the clan are as well, most notably, the cafeteria (where the cooks prep the meals and banquets are held), the courtyard (the lawn of the school where outdoor events are hosted and where the outdoor fountain that the meetings are held at is found), the gym (a massive rectangular room with marble floors that is often used as an indoor training area by the militia), and the library (which has many cozy couches and chairs in a large seating area amongst the books, perfect for those who want some quiet relaxation time).

The second floor is where all the dorm rooms are found, and members are encouraged to claim their own or bunk up with their friends in whichever empty room they please. Customizing your room is a tradition of the clan, and it's very unusual for an occupied room to not have some sort of personal style given to it by the one who lives there. Finally the third floor is reserved for the higher ups, and is usually used for hp meetings, trials, and holds their personal bedrooms which are generally large cleared out classrooms.

The second structure, about a 20 minute walk from Headuarters, is the The Farm. This place was one used by the humans to help sustain the school with food throughout the year by providing on site meats, fruits, and vegitables. Now it serves the same purpose, only it provides food for the members of Conquest.
    the overhang
    Spoiler:
Located far from the camp and farm on the eastern edge of the territory, this heavily guarded facility is where the criminals of Greenside are kept. Here the grassy grounds give way to a thick strip of trees that overhang an empty riverbed, which has been deepened by earth elementals to create a wide scar in the earth that the branches of the trees stretch out over to create a canopy, partially hiding it from view. This heavily guarded ditch has steep sides that are near impossible to climb, with only one way in and out. This is the prison of Greenside, and it's where the criminals and those who wish to do harm to innocent people are sent. Rehabilitation isn't something that's really practiced here as usually those that reach this place aren't just petty thieves or in for minor crimes, and it instead houses those who are criminally insane or who refuse to give up their wicked ways.

    LAWS AND TRADITIONS
Conquest, while being a group that is generally open to all types of peoples, is very serious about the laws it upholds. Those who break them go to trial before the HP's for sentencing.

    - protect your own before anything else. regardless of personal issues you may have with someone in the group, your expected to have each others backs in times of trouble

    - senseless violence or unnecessary force will be punished. while this is a group that actively forces others into their ranks and executes evil people, they do not do this lightly nor do they take satisfaction in having to destroy the homes of others or uproot innocent families. it's done because it's necessary to bring about their goal and that's it.

    - contribution is essential. while all are welcome here, all must be willing to pitch in as well. while we are a militia-themed group with goals to rule all, there are many places in our community for those who don't wish to fight. Healers, cooks, event planners, den mothers, farmers/hunters, groundskeepers and many other jobs are available to members.

    - mercy is to be shown to anyone who surrenders to you. during the event that you capture someone they are either to be made into a member of Greenside (should they be a good person that's willing to obey the rules) or imprisoned in the Overhang if they are evil and seek to do harm to innocents of Greenside.

    - on the occasion that you capture someone with a good heart whose just too stubborn to assimilate, they are to be brought before the HPs for trial. Often these rebellious members are not harmed or tortured, and are instead sent to The Farm to be made part of the workforce as 'partial prisoners' until they are ready to properly join Greenside as a willing member of society.

    -  since conquest accepts and employs all sorts of animals who believe in and pursue different things, it's understandable that certain people may not clique. members aren't expected to get along all the time, but you are expected to maintain a certain level of civility and maturity with each other when in public.

    - while Conquest doesn't do alliances, they are known at times to 'sell' times of ceasefire to their enemies. should a ceasefire with a group be called, no antagonizing of them is permitted.

    RANKING SYSTEM
Conquest is unique in that it offers a dual ranking system. While it is true that the group is mainly military themed, those that do not wish to pursue the military route are still able to climb the ranks, holding equivalent powers to those in the military without having to join it. These ranking systems are known as the Military Ranks, and the Community Ranks.

    (general high positions)
Those who are in charge of running the group and making all major decisions.
    Spoiler:
COMMANDER - leader of Conquest, their word is law
    Malakai Dimera
GENERAL - second in command, in charge of assisting and enforcing the General (can be promoted from military or community ranks)
    none
MEDICS - responsible for the health of the clan, both physical and mental. they have the authority to force those beneath them to rest or sustain from certain activities.
    none
    (S/HP ranks / military ranks)
Trusted members who hold authority and are often given important tasks related to warfare and the protection of Greenside.
    Spoiler:
CAPTAINS (hp) - responsible for training and commanding the Officers beneath them, ensuring they are capable of doing their jobs. these members are usually given special tasks and the lead on raids or scouting missions.
    none
OFFICERS (s/hp)- these are the newcomers to the militia branch that are looking to add their strength and cunning to Conquest. they are still proving themselves, and act a the police force, protecting the community from anger and settling minor arguments between members.
    none

    (S/HP / community ranks)

Trusted members who hold authority in the ranks that are in charge of events and helping the community of Greenside thrive.
    Spoiler:
KEEPERS (hp) - hold the rank equivalent of Captain, and are known as the true loyalists of the clan. they contribute often, put the welfare of others first, and are a vital part of the community. they are usually trusted to take care of things that involve the general community, like hosting events, parties, or games.
    none
GREETERS & WORKFORCE (s/hp) - hold the rank equivalent of Officers, given for a newcomers efforts and activity in the group, weather that's always being around to welcome newcomers or weather your character is constantly helping around the clan by providing items/services.

(Normal Ranks / Personal titles that anyone can hold)

All newcomers to the clan, regardless of age, hold the basic starter rank of Civilian. Below are titles you can attach to your character despite their rank to showcase a specific field they specialize in.
    Spoiler:
FARMERS - these members usually stay at the farm where they are able to grow massive vegetable gardens and tend to livestock, but they are known to live at the Headquarters as well, taking care of on-site flower gardens or community pets.

GUARDS - these members protect and guard the camp from hostiles and generally help keep the peace among clanmates.

COOKS - these members typically remain at Headquarters, preparing and serving the meats, veggies, and fruits that are sent over from the farm.

CRAFTERS - these members reside where they live in Greenside, and are known for creating everything from weapons to decorative clothing items.

DEN MOTHERS - these members act as clan babysitters, looking after the young while their parents do whatever work they need to during the days.

    open for tracking/joining!

I made this group just under a year ago when I'd joined as Kink (which I can't seem to remember the password to, so almost a year later I'm back as Crackers Big Grin ), and I've decided to get it back up and running. Feel free to track and join in!
