The little Fae disliked climbing.  Her heart fluttered at the idea of high places, of the greater strength of wind every extra foot she climbed.  Still, tiny claws scraped into bark, scratching and digging deep into a towering tree.  A spotted tail flicked and twitched behind her, curling side to side for balance.

A cackling raven hopped in the branches above, the flutter of feathers perking her ears.  Slowly, the petite kitten breathed through her nose, brows creased in intense focus.  "Fiachra, kulikuli!" How did Suvi take this?  The relentless CAWing threatened to give her a headache.

The striker bared her teeth, pale hues narrowed in irritation as the bird continued to egg her on.  Once she reached the raven's perch, the spread of height began to sink in.  Her chest constricted but with a stubborn glint, she balanced on the branch and crept up to her cousin's feathered companion - more like feathered nuisance, as far as she felt concerned.

Frowning, the spotted kit sat beside the dark bird, tail flicking to and fro restlessly.

This wasn't so bad.
