Obviously, the wolf was not fond of accepting  the people from the light. Those who knew what the sun looked like, how the stars glimmered in the sky, what an eclipse was like. But she had to learn. She had to accept it. So, she had learned about these groups and chosen three potential allies: Sunhaven, Snowbound, and The Ascendants. All that was left to do was to make gift baskets for them. After all, it wouldn't look good, asking to be allies and then not having anything. "We're going to be making three gift baskets for potential allies! The Ascendants should get  a star-themed basket. Perhaps telescopes? Star charms? Sunglasses for the eclipse? That kind of thing. Sunhaven should get sunny stuff, associated with summer. Pool floaties, ice cream, that kind of thing! Perhaps decoratiion. Snowbound is in a snow place. Things that make them warm, sweaters, hot cocoa, that kind of thing. Now, we can also choose who goes to which groups as well. I personally would like to go to Snowbound, leaving the Ascendants and Sunhaven left."

Gift baskets. Moonshadow wasn't completely convinced by the idea of them. If someone came to them with such a thing, he'd possibly turn them away for bribery. He didn't need some charms to consider alliances, he needed the facts of it. The strengths and weaknesses, pros and cons. A bunch of toys for kids wasn't going to help anytime soon. But, if that's how they played, then he had to follow it, even if it agitated him.

"I won't be visiting anyone, but I will... help with gathering these gifts. It is the least I can do, Sorceress." He sighed, dipping his head slightly toward her.
