The crusader's mind already ponders how she will snidely comment to her colleague upon his "late" arrival, in spite of the fact that she actually arrived early. Irregardless, the solitary predator offers Esklav a subtle nod in greeting as she takes a seat--clearly not in the mood to go above and beyond in terms of conversation. Now, she waits. If only Dante wasn't such a slowpoke.

If Dante could hear Melantha's thoughts, he'd probably comment on how he liked the be what he called 'fashionably late'. Besides, was he really late to this meeting if Esklav technically hadn't started it? The hybrid entered the pyramid and raised his head as he neared the new leader and his coworker. "Whaddya need?" Dante spoke as he sat down, wrapping his shark-shaped tail around his paws.

Esklav had a point. Without Erudites and Yes Man, there really was no point to their position. Depressing and honestly, Dante was quite frustrated with it. Luckily, though, Esklav seemed to have a backup plan and Dante's ears pricked at the mention of spying on other groups. "I'd be interested." The hybrid grunted, giving his leader a curt nod.

She remains silent, but it is clear from her expression that she is not pleased. Well, as much as one can gather from a blank scowl and glittering olive eyes. Regardless, she can admit that their rank is pointless without higher ups to guard. 'Tis a shame, considering how suited she is for bodyguard duty. But Mel is adaptable, and she will embrace her new duties with as much grace as she can muster. "I would be willing to spy, as well," she offers bluntly. As long as she does not have to spy anywhere near Dante, of course.
