[div style="text-align: justify;"]Anakin sensed energy- peoples auras were revealed to him by the force. He knew her energy. It was sweet and kind, but it had been hurt time and time again by those close to her. He nearly lost hold of his form when he sensed her presence.

She had always done this to him, she made him weak. She had made Vader weak and had brought out the only inkling of the idea that Anakin Skywalker lived. She had been his light in dark times. He remembered holding her close to his chest, laying with her, her- laying her head on his back. Touching and cuddling, because that was all they could get past his suit.

Sleeping in his box and watching her sleep through the window, playing with the kids, being with her. She... she just made the pain a little more bearable. He rushed to her from the Starpool- the blazing sun of his presence arriving first, then the dust and leaves picking up and the cloudy apparition of a lion forming. It glowed blue and shined brightly, staring at her with a gaping mouth.

If Vader were a man, he would have fallen to his knees before her- she was an untouchable goddess to him, and he quickly noted her body and his head tilted, sympathetic look on his face.  He fell to his rump instead, sitting down, reaching out to touch her, but hesitating. He hadn't tried to touch anyone.
"Oh Padme, my beautiful wife." The words came out exasperated, tired. "What have you done to yourself?"

Padmè jumped, startled by the sudden rustling of the dust and leaves. Then, with the apparition of a lion, she thought she was seeing things, and thought Imperia had poisoned her. But no, she recognized that voice. “Ani? Is that really you?” She asked nervously, trembling. Maybe he had finally returned to retrieve her, and they would be able to be together in afterlife, pure bliss. “Are you here to take me away from this cruel life? I’ve missed you so much.”

"Yes, Padme, it's me." He said, taking a step away. His eyes looked her up and down, as some unfamiliar part of him considered running from her. He felt he wasn't enough for her now, or maybe even too much.
"I... I wouldn't take you from this life, Padme. It's not your time yet. Please. Just..." This wasn't very becoming of him. "Stay here. Get better."
