Corrin was the daughter of God known as Anankos and a mortal woman named Mikoto. Due to Anankos' kingdom falling, Mikoto was forced to promise to never tell her child about her true father and the two of them fled, to a Kingdom called Hoshido. They were welcomed into Hoshido with open arms by the King and Queen, as well as the Princes and Princesses. Shortly after Mikoto and Corrin arrived, the Queen had passed and Mikoto had married him. Soon, the King of a neighboring Kingdom, Nohr, set up a meeting to bring peace to both Kingdoms and invited Hoshido's King to it. He took Corrin with him. Instead of a meeting, it was a trap. The King was slaughtered in cold-blood and Corrin was taken to the enemy Kingdom, Nohr to be raised as a Princess there. She was keep in a isolated fortress for most of her early childhood. One day, a young boy called Silas had managed to sneak Corrin out of the fortress and they spent some time together before being caught. Silas was sent away and Corrin was returned to the fortress. A few years later, Corrin was returned to Hoshido and reunited with her mother. However, her mother was killed by a hooded man sent by Nohrian forces. Enraged by this, Corrin turned into a Feral Dragon and killed the hooded man before returning to her human form.
Some time afterward, Nohr and Hoshido gathered on the border of both Kingdoms and declared war on each other. Corrin chose not to take part in the war and took off somewhere with her companion, Azura. They both found a abandoned cabin nowhere near Nohr and Hoshido. The two eventually fell in love though a small group of bandits had broken into their home and killed the both of them a long time after. Some months later, Corrin woke up as a feline in Tanglewood.
