Ska'arq had been with Beck right from the beginning. Since before Tanglewood's creation, anyways. Not since the... beginning-beginning. The dragon had no idea how long ago that was. After the group started he'd made an attempt to integrate with the ever-growing crowd, but... he just couldn't do it. He was a pretty big introvert. Both literally and metaphorically. Anyways, although he had to interact with other sentient beings from time to time, the reptile mainly wanted to keep to himself- so he'd gone into isolation, vanishing from Tanglewood's grounds. Where did he go? He'd rather not talk about it. But there was something he couldn't ignore. He'd missed the quirky ghost human-now-cat that had taken the role of ruler over the band of rogues in the toxic swamp. Beck, wasn't it? That was his name? Yeah, he was pretty sure.
Ska'arq glanced around self-consciously as he strolled into the abandoned-but-not-anymore town. "I'm back..." he mumbled.
I'm back, those were the words Lumi longed to say to her siblings. She'd had a dream about returning home to them, having gotten un-lost and taking Buggy with her, but Pris was still alive too. It was a weird dream, seeing as none of that would ever happen. She'd probably trip, fall, and somehow land on Mishka or something. It wouldn't be very storybook like at all, no it would be disastrous. Because she was disastrous. But Lumi liked that quality about herself, it meant she wasn't boring at least.
But it wouldn't do well to dwell on dreams, and pretty soon, her hyperactive mind had moved on. There was this big purple wall in front of her that she'd never noticed before, and it had a pretty weird texture, and it could talk? That was so... totally completely abso-freaking-lutely awesome! This talking wall would be her new best friend! She'd shower it with flowers and sticks, and decorate it and give it gifts, it would be amazing! "Oh my gosh I love you!" the young wolf would say, giving the "wall" a big hug. That so called "wall" actually happened to be the dragon's ass.
