Owen was surprised that the raid had turned out like that. Delta had killed a Typhooner, slaughtered the poor guy. But, he deserved it, coming into the raptor's territory. Who didn't know of the raptors at this point? They were a fucking legacy.

The german shepherd knew that his presence here with the girls was a dangerous thing. He couldn't risk the Ascendants getting in more trouble thanks to the raptors. So, in the dark of the night, Owen left a note for Suiteheart and Margaery. He was sure they would show the note to Bastille later on, too.

Dear Power Couple,
I'm taking the girls to a different clan. After Delta killed that kid from the Typhoon, I'm sure that they'll be after you all now. So, I've decided to move out with them.
If you need us, you can always send letters. People do letters here, don't they?
I'll come to visit with baskets, as always. But, the girls will be safer in a different clan.

With that being said, Owen turned his gaze away, trotting off to the forest where he let out a broadcasting call to his two girls. "Delta. Echo. On me." He chirped out, tail waving behind him as he ran off. Off, to find a new home for the three of them.

Echo had not been there at the recent raid, so she hadn't noticed Delta kill a enemy, yet she would praise her younger sister for killing one that might be a threat to them. The Utahraptor had been hunting around the borders when she had come across Owen. She would tilt her head and open her jaws, a somewhat affectionate look in her eyes before she realized that Alpha had ran across the border and into the wilds.

Echo would release a broadcast call, for Delta to hear- before she quickly ran after the wolf, following his formation.

Delta hears the two broadcast calls, and comes quickly to the location - though she was a bit cranky, having been asleep before the ruckus. Chittering a greeting to them, she steps forward in front of Echo as she chased behind the wolf, taking her place in the pack.

Oh, she gotten the letter. It had been the first thing Suiteheart saw when she woke up, and she had immediately shown Margaery. Suite had laughed about who the letter was addressed to, asked Margaery if that's what they really were, and then grown sad at the prospect of them all leaving. She liked the raptors quite a bit now, and she was beginning to like Owen too.

Ocean eyes skimmed the letter once more, and she flicked an ear at the reason for their departure. As far as she was concerned, the murder of the Typhooner didn't mean they needed to leave. The Typhoon raided them, any injuries or casualties (while unfortunate) were on the Typhoon.

Even so, Suiteheart didn't have any say in the matter. Owen was free to do as he pleased, and she wasn't even sure what Bastilleprisoner's thoughts on the situation were. She didn't know the Seraph anymore. Still, she knew Bast would be upset over the loss of the raptors. He'd liked them, if she remembered. Well, she supposed she ought to go rip the band-aid off and present the letter to Bast.

Hazel didn't catch wind of the news until the morning after, sleep still in her eyes as she just about ran into Suite. She'd slept like a rock, the creeping silence following her into the dreamscape for once. "Mmf - sorry, Suite," The cocoa feline mumbled, sitting back on her haunches to rub her eyes. After an impressive yawn, she finally noticed the letter in Suite's grasp, and leaned over to see if she could pick out a few words. She'd been getting a little better at reading English, though her progress had slowed considerably. She needed to pick it back up at some point.

However, drowsiness made letters blur together and comprehension difficult. Frowning, Hazel wrapped her tail around her paws. "What's it say?" She asked around another yawn.

tex just hung out nearby when the three made their leave, watching as they did so and as others stumbled across the letter that was left behind. if she could remember right, owen had just recently joined here literally a day or two ago. now that she is remembering her encounter with the male, he did say it was going to be for only a short while; she didn't expect it to be this short. regardless, it was none of her business nor concern however long people stay or leave anywhere. there were far better things for her to do in order to pass the time - and that's just what she was going to go and do once she finished her midday nap.

The white feline had expected Hazel to move immediately, which inadvertently lead to the pair playing a game of chicken. Luckily, Hazel had pulled back just short of barreling into Suiteheart and vice versa. A quizzical look surfaced on the alabaster femme's features for a brief moment, but the expression calmed as soon as she caught the sleep in Haze's gaze. A tiny chuckle rested on her lips while the chocolate fae spoke and yawned.

She took a seat beside her golden girl, handing Hazel the letter. Baby blue eyes turned to watch Texas's easily sleeping form. As a yawn took control of her, she was suddenly aware of her own exhaustion. "Owen's leaving, and he took the raptors with him." A frown eclipsed her normal smirk. "Owen said he's worried about having them here since the raid incident with Delta - which I don't think was too much of a problem; she was trying to protect us, I think... Anyway, he said he'd visit us every so often." She yawened again, watching the napping freelancer. She hoped the raptors and their tamer would be alright out there.
