revamp on benjamin roe notes (hhhhh)

the tired medic ™ & tired #dad
he runs from his problems, but he's trying to be a solid figure at the same time. this has a tendency to clash against itself but he kind of just lets himself deal with this because he's not mentally weak. he's dealt with a lot of shit, he's watched a lot of life just slip away. he's lost friends, family (most importantly his best friend someone who was essentially his brother), but you see he keeps going. he's not about to fall over and just proclaim to the world that he can't do it anymore. ben keeps going because he feels as if he owes it to them. being a medic and helping those around him is what he's good at and what he knows how to do and can help those around him.

he's rough on the edges, but softer on the inside. it's hard to get past his exterior though. he's young but he acts much more mature than any his age,,, because again he's seem some shit. he's overly serious, he's there to do his job and if you get in his way he'll snap. he's not the happiest of guys, but he still cares. tired, always tired. he's a rock though, and he lets people hold onto him. he's a lighthouse in a storm, saving ships at sea. it wears him down, but he'll never sink on his exterior.

- knows where his morals are, has strong ones
- never will not help someone, being a medic is part of who he is
- a hypocrite because he smokes but is a doctor (hello ben wyd)
- not afraid to necessarily voice his opinions in what he thinks he's right
- curses quite a bit
- he's cajun aka people of french descent who have also adapted southern tendencies, so he can speak french and english. his english has a slight southern drawl to it and his french a unique accent
- lanky, skinny, could probably eat a lot but not gain more than a pound or two
- VERY uncertain and unsure of romantic relationships, he doesn't believe in love or growing too close to anyone because he's realistic over the fact that one day he might just lose them and he'll blame it on himself. this has happened to him in the past. he blames himself, while it might not have been his fault, for the deaths of those around him in his previous homes.
- he cares more about others than himself, to the point where it can be unhealthy
- while he's not the most cheerful guy around, he's not afraid of holding back some sort of snarky comment + sarcastic comment, or flashing some sort of sheepish grin somewhere
- short laughs, eye rolls, shuffling of his paws, biting of his tongue
- almost obsessed with his work
