    DOES THE BLANK STARE-
SCARE YOU MORE THAN THE FROWN?
[div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;color: #E0EEEE;"] Argus looked at the edged apprentice and thought dangerous. It did not stir any of their own feelings of protection for the crewmates, or a hesitance on their part. Merely an acknowledgement. The deputy has lived before this crew became land-bound, and they knew enough about monsters and animals, and how fine the line it was - how easy to cross between both.

Of coarse, the joining party had the possibility to be a spy- sure. Anyone did, and Argus' naturally paranoid brain was always aware of that. Aware of betrayal though typically from a different kind. It made it easier to accept, easier to welcome a stranger when the stranger was all they would be until proved otherwise.

Still on the talk of jungle juice. Comically argus ears lowered at the mention of it, and a slight deadpan spread across the wolf's features as in attempts of nonchalance. "Maa, I don't know what you're talkin' about." Very carefully the deputy aimed a jibe at vandal. It was no fun tricking people to drink the stuff if they knew what it was before hand. It made it less fun.

" It's a sort of tradition for newcomers, just drop by the remnants of the tavern when you're ready and the bartender should point you in the right direction." Argus offered without pause, their relaxed expression making no hint to omission of truth. Dull red eyes watching the apprentice. "Name's Argus. Welcome home."

I DO NOT WANT TO DIE WHO I AM
Merihem was... Well, he'd never encountered someone quite as forward as him. It wasn't that Felix wasn't interested in men himself - he was. Always had been in all honesty. Men and women both caught his fancy when they were attractive, and he was not ashamed to admit it. But he also wasn't forward in his attraction to any gender really, to meet someone who was threw him off-guard a little.

"Hallucinogenics." He comments almost offhandedly when Meri asks what the jungle juice is. He drank it too, not long after coming here. It was harrowing to say the least, a thing he truly wasn't proud of and wasn't certainly not proud of how he handled it. Then again, only one person managed to see Orthax... He thinks. He hopes. "If that is your fancy, I don't see why you shouldn't try it." There's a chance you might see something good, but Felix is broken. There was no chance he'd see something that he would enjoy.

"Ah, Felix Fredrick Tarqin de Borel, pleasure to meet you." Customary introductions out of the way, he can go hole himself away in the workshop once again.
