[align=center]
You find yourself on the shore, the sound of rushing waves filling your ears. The air is salty as you walk, the sand seeping between the toes of your paws, but you're distracted from the discomfort when a large building comes into view. You're careful as you approach, realizing that it's an aquarium that's been long abandoned. The sign hangs off the front of the structure and the once clean and pristine walls are now covered with plant life and sand. Most of the windows are surprisingly intact, with only a few of them being cracked and worn.
Before you can go any further, you're suddenly faced with two other beings. But they're nothing like you've ever seen. They're both large felines, and yet their bodies are adorned with scales, gills standing out against their neck. Their eyes study you closely, their thin slit pupils sending a chill down your spine. After an awkward stare-off, one of them finally speaks, their voice steady yet welcoming.
"Hello, welcome to Zealandia. Who might you be, traveler?" you blink at the name, introducing yourself to the pair. "Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you. Would you like a tour?" somewhat hesitant, you nod, glancing over towards the one who had been silent the whole time. The other one nods, a pleasant smile on their face as they lead you into the aquarium.
However, just as you're about to step inside, the silent one blocks your path and regards you with a hard glare. "Be careful where you tread. We aren't as we appear to be, new meat, his words unsettle you. Your bones suddenly feel like ice, having to force yourself to move as they hurry you along. Their warning echoes in your mind, and as you walk along the cold and cracked tile floors, you have a sinking feeling that not all is what it seems. There's a big storm coming and you've just landed yourself in the crossfire.

— TERRITORY
CLIFFSIDE AQUARIUM AND RESEARCH CENTER;
A main part and primary entrance of Zealandia’s territory is the large aquarium and marine science center situated near the beach on a low cliffside. On the outside, it appears as a small concrete building, run down and slowly crumbling after many years of disuse and abandonment. The inside of the facility is much more elaborate, with stairwells and nonfunctional elevators leading down several floors that have been built well underground. Most rooms are filled with mostly empty tanks and dusty displays. There are five floors total, each floor more corroded and broken than the last and filled with remnants of pools and enclosures.
the prison; On the third floor of the facility, after several twists and turns lies a large walk-through shark tank serving as the holding cell for prisoners. Everyone is kept together in one massive tank and often starved. Escape is difficult due to high glass walls and constant patrolling throughout the floor by the Marauders stationed there.
the fifth floor; The bottom most level of the facility, while unimpressive, is important. The room is flooded with seawater rising to about ankle height. There’s a deep broken tank in the middle of the room where the source of the water can be pinpointed. In one corner is a very large hole leading down into murky waters. At first it would seem useless, but in actuality, provides as the gateway to the clan’s main living quarters (see Serpent’s Den).
SERPENT’S DEN;
Through the large gaping hole of the fifth floor, at the end of a short but cold underwater swim, lies the Serpent’s Den—the main living area of Zealandia. A large expanse of cave stretches out with several large “islands” of land connected to the walls of the cave. On these are long rooms carved out and decorated with old limestone temples and broken columns to which members can live and decorate how they please. From the ceiling hangs bright blue bioluminescent algae that light up the cave.
