it was eating at her and she had no idea why. why did she care? what did he matter to her? the small dragon lost her mother and her father just didn't care about her? she was angry but held it all in. she held it all in and just focused on kold for so long. to long. far to long. bai jing ai was not going to be silent anymore. how could she even try to be? she was hurt and he just ignored her?

    not anymore.

the small dragon left her nest high in the tree and scrambled along the branch. talons dug into the bark as she looked at the early morning sun. tail swishing behind her before she jumped down. gliding to the earth before stalking towards her fathers home. bai shi would know her and that was it. she didnt even bother to stop herself. her eyes finding him and she started in without a second thought.

how dare you. you can't just have a kid and ignore them! ignore me! she was screaming the words at him as she came to a stop near the blind dragon.

" I CAN HEAR YOUR PULSE RACING FROM HERE! "
What was this now? The voice of a gnat? Were they dreaming? They had hoped it would have been a pleasant dream.

The great blind beast lifted their head as Bai Jing Ai spoke out in a harsh tone. Long scarred ears would twitch upon hearing her voice, lifting their head as her shrill words reached them. Children. A legacy they wished they'd never had, more than once. Deep the breath that stirred as they yawned, large jaws opening with a crack of bone, ancient bones settling back into place as they licked their maw, "It is much too early to be causing such a racket, mine own blood.", they would utter a deep rumble, opening blind eyes to roam around uselessly. How were they to even answer that kind of sentence? It would be crude to answer with the truth that they knew.

Mulling the angry words in their head, an ear twitching as the dragon shook their head as they awakened fully. Do I tell her that she was an unintended child? No. That truth is too crude. A consequence of actions? No. Hm., the great beast would mull in their mind before sighing a deep breath. They were already cursed by many and this would be no different if their daughter hadn't already cursed them to the underworld.

"I did not know that I had continued my bloodline. I was not a sane man when I crossed paths with your mother. Mothers ... This beast I am, is still not a sane beast, nor a beast fit to live of a family life.", they finally spoke, pushing their aching body to their taloned feet, bones creaking. Oh what they wouldn't give to just rot away and become one with the land. "The man known by mine name lay dead. Mine own fool adventures were not meant to result in anything, mine blood. Thine name bears mine own resemblance, truth enough. Thee be of mine lineage, but I am no good father, no good sire. Too many of mine lineage and husband have died. Mine blood washes the land, thine is at great risk to be called mine."
