There's really just one thing that we have in common
NONE OF US WILL BE MISSED

NONE OF US WILL BE MISSED
Whisper was adaptable, or so she thought. Getting used to a swamp's biome enough to feel comfortable in it was hard. Her first day in the clan and she noticed how humid it was. It was probably the biggest hurdle for her to work over, she was trying to get used to any sort of humidity at all and to go into a place that was a few degrees from being under water was hard enough without needing to breathe thank you. She was at least thankfully for the lack of need in air, not that she couldn't breathe, but it made her breathing from changing rapidly to try and accommodate for all the water. Not to mention the apparent radioactive edge to the place. She had noticed the surplus in mutations within the place, and the apparent latent cause in prey animals too. Damn, she wondered how they all managed to even live without showing the sings of radioactive sickness, but then again- it took a few years for something like that to settle in.
To say she was having difficulties settling in was correct. The crocks that she had seen upon first sight at the border would contention to harass her until she gathered the scent of the place. Though the people were welcoming, kind or honest in ways that were appreciated. She stuck mostly to the few familiar faces that she knew. Not entirely the people here but the ones that greeted her first. Which is to say she followed Vigenere. She was trying to be subtle about it, popping into the other's focus from time to time or just trailing behind him. But she wasn't hiding the fact that she was following him around. So she wouldn't be surprised that he noticed. Just a little bit put-off that she was caught or even- that he would confront her spying.
To be honest, it wasn't about him being familiar that she followed him, rather his story. His siblings story. The other Cipher that she had met was crude, prideful. He was []i]sad[/i] though. Regretful. While Vigenere didn't show the same kind of sorrow, he did show something else. Loyalty. The few people that he liked here were treasured, as if he knew the failure of loosing everything, he clung to what he had now. Whisper wondered what happened. What she could do- what she could learn. So, she followed.
