The thought of a high-ranking Enclavian brutally assaulting an innocent man within his own territory lay heavy on the Alpha's mind. Once he had learned of the incident, he had promptly taken action to expel Rylios of all of his authority and power, reducing him to what was practically a slave in rank. It was what had to be done. Justice had to be done. With that being said, Maximilian wanted to take the steps to extend an olive branch to the Coalition beyond this incident. An attack this severe would no doubt cloud their judgment of the Enclave in his eyes, and he felt compelled to act quickly and accordingly in order to help mend his clan's image.
The wolf had traveled up until the tip of the mainland, the island home of the Coalition now in view. He had better things to do than to swim there and back just to deliver a message, so he had enlisted the assistance of a somewhat-tamed pigeon, whose right leg now had a letter tied tightly to it so not as to fall into the deep waters mid-flight. Maximilian released the bird with its instructions to wait at the Coalition's borders until someone had read the message before flying back to the Enclave's woodland home. The bird would only hesitate if the Coalitioners wished to respond back with another message, but otherwise it would return back to him as soon as possible.
Once opened, the letter read:
TO THE COALITION.
I have been made aware that the Enclavian Delta, Rylios Arvada, had attacked a man named Jasper Kinsella, a member of the Coalition of the Condemned. With some prying, the Enclave has found Mr. Arvada to be guilty of the assault of an innocent, and he has promptly been removed from his position and encouraged to find a home elsewhere.
The Enclave is a clan of peace and justice. We do not stand behind Mr. Arvada's actions, and we will provide whatever assistance the Coalition or Mr. Kinsella request to further aid the healing process.
