the going ons of the frostguard had not reached the priestess, alone in solitary retreat. her fellow priests and priestesses knew where she'd gone, taking residence in her rooms close to the bottom level of enit's belltower, fervently praying to the god, thol, over the past few months. the priestess' diet included few things more than rations and the few meals her fellows would bring to her, and today marked the end of her retreat, she'd be emerging now back into the world of the living.

doing so was an interesting thing, as if the doors of her rooms were a barrier that mortal wishes and desires could not pass, the smell of cooking meat making the priestess' stomach howl with hunger anew. thol help her, she'd just emerged and the inner glutton she hid was already rattling the cage. spreading her jaws in a yawn, the female lynx would stretch, snake jewelry glittering in the firelight of the dying night, her eyes wandering those gathered. a feast? eyes turning to the skies, blinking and furrowing her brows. the sun was already up, so why? why was there a feast?

shaking out her pelt, she broke into a trot as she headed for the closest fire where meat was roasting and settling herself in among her clanmates, sniffing the air hungrily. she didn't bother to announce she'd come out of her retreat, there was no reason to. eyes glancing towards the forests that wrapped around the frostguard and the wall of enit, she would gaze quietly at the faint streaks of blue that she could make out so far away with a sense of longing. she wanted to be out among the trees, even though she'd like some living interaction.
