the twitching of birds. the quiet humming of bees and insects as the world came to life was just so nice and peaceful. the world was waking up and it was time she did too. the seasons were changing, and they were changing fast. almost too fast for her to realise. she nearly was living her life in slow-motion, after all. everything was meant to be enjoyed at its finest, at its fullest. so life would be enjoyed to its finest and fullest too. she opened droopy, sleepy optics and blinked, still half-asleep.
it wasn't like she hibernated, no, such a silly thought. that was for the bears and whichever other animals to do. she did a simple nap. but the seasons had changed alarmingly quickly, almost too quickly. she was a little confused, the weather shouldn't change this quickly, right?
she looked out a small crack in the walls. there was snow outside, quite a thick heap of it, a few days ago, but now it was rapidly melting. she shivered. at least the weather would get warmer soon, and the landscape prettier. now all she had to do was wait a little bit more, snuggle deeper into her bed, and emerge from her home when everything was nice and beautiful again.
