Though her parents were leaders, Firefly had never imagined herself in a position of power. She was just... well, she wasn't just somebody's wife, now. She was alone. Alone and Tanglewood's Luminary, so it was time to address them.
"Hey guys, gather around for a few announcements."
Firefly gulped. "To start, thank you guys for backing me against Brymstone. It looks like he's fled back to the Pitt. And because Brymstone murdered Els, we will hereby terminating our alliance with the Pitt and Brymstone, specifically, is not welcome anywhere in Tanglewood."
The ligress didn't like the thought of saying "kill them on sight," but that could be easily implied from her tone.
"Secondly, I am appointing Ximen as my Reaper. I appreciate you sticking by me every step of this process and I'm sure that we'll be a great team. I'll be looking out for other members to promote in the coming future. Until then, I'd buckle down because it seems like last week's heatwave may give way to some heavy storms. I'm happy to entertain thoughts and opinions now, but if there's nothing else, be free to go about your day!"
