The spring weather was delightful, but it brought with it additional problems and responsibilities. As such, his nights were often disturbed by the state of his mind and the hunger that drove through him like a stake most days. He'd found that he would fall asleep in some area, and later awaken in another. He was at a loss for the cause of this, but he had an idea it was likely to be the stress that caused his body to do this. Not that even he knew what all he was stressed about.

Tonight was no different, he was curled up within the confines of his nest, drifting off to the grips of sleep. He would remain asleep as some time later, his body would.move on its own, taking him from his den and tree, down to the ground where he lingered in camp before choosing a random prey trail from close by, following it along without awaking. It led him through the heart of the valley, leading towards the mineral caves.
