The warming wind currents lifted Nord high above the Plaza before he dipped and squarely landed on the platform. The crystal wyvern stretched out his wings as he let loose a thundering roar. With a chuff, he shuffled back a little and furled his wings against his back, his golden eyes sharp as he watched everyone trickle into the meeting.

"Welcome!" He boomed, "I apologize for my absence for the past month and a half with announcements. I have been incredibly busy talking to council members and outlining plans for the upcoming Hunt." Nord unfurled one wing and rubbed his muzzle, "Besides that, I want to announce [member=17957]FOXGAZE.[/member] as an upcoming member! After she participates in the Hunt, she will have full access to everything in the Isles. Be sure to welcome her and be kind." He cast a warning glance at the crowd, "I would like to extend a welcome to ONE member to join me as I travel to other territories and set up trading and political status. I would send the Ambassador, but first impressions do matter."

His tail twitched as he thought of trying to set up the Hunt with Tourmaline, "On a lighter note, we will have a Call of the Hunt at the beginning of April! We will once again have a Hunt and all the other activities that go along with it. It is a new year and it is time to prove ourselves and become closer comrades!" Nord roared, excitement tinging his voice, "If anyone has any questions about the Hunt or anything, I will remain here until the end of the day." He hummed as he thought of if he needed to announce anything else. If he did, he would make another announcement, he decided.

Ah, her first meeting here. Foxgaze knew about the meetings that the much bigger group held and was quite excited to be able to see one for herself. Of course, there were the gatherings that existed too, but she would much rather see a meeting within her own group first. So at Nord's call, the Siamese she-cat quickly made her way over.

Foxgaze listened to the announcements, wrapping her tail around her paws. "I can go with you if you'd like, Nord." She spoke up. "I do have a question though, what exactly is the Hunt?" The Baron had briefly mentioned it during her joining, though the question she had now was overshadowed at the time by the mention of Crystal Bloodlines.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

Heavy wing beats followed in suite, dark green mass of a dragoness, still skeletal in form, landing toward the back of the gathered group. Her face seemed empty, blank save for a gentle smile. She was still hungry, still refused to eat until a meeting was called. Now that it was called, she quietly listened. Wasn't much for her to say or bring attention to.

Nord hummed, a small smile tugging at his muzzle, "I'll consider your offer, Foxgaze. I still have a bit before I go, so I'll let you know beforehand." Shifting, the crystal wyvern lowered himself so he did not have to look down so much at the flame color-point, "The Call of the Hunt is a very big deal for the Isles. We celebrate our heritage, tell stories, we open our borders, and we have the Hunt. The Hunt, specifically, only happens a few times a year, but we hold the festival often." Nord's gold eyes sharpened, "The Hunt is a hunt of dangerous animals to collect points, to prove your strength. The Barons before me made the Hunt mandatory, but I changed it to make it optional and to invite other groups to join the fun. This makes the people breathe easier." He didn't mention it made the citizens of the Isles like him more, which makes them more loyal and willing to listen to him.

Foxgaze gave a short nod to let Nord know that she understood his statement regarding visiting the other groups before focusing on the dragon as he lowered himself to talk about the Hunt. "I see."
