[glow=white,1,400]WOULD YOU BITE BACK IF GIVEN THE CHANCE ? — 。+゚.[/glow]
Fakhira was used to being alone on her birthday by now, even if the thought of it still bothered her. She missed her sister, Aphra, even though she had been the one to push Fakhira away. Sure, Fakhira had been apart of a group for a short amount of time, but it unfortunately had disbanded long before she had a chance to celebrate her birthday there.
Fakhira had found a small den out in the Neutral Grounds where she made herself home, though she welcomed any travelers that stopped by, if there happened to be any. She didn't get a lot of travelers that stopped by, though she didn't entirely mind; being by herself was much better than risking getting hurt. Still, she found herself missing her sister, especially given today.
Aphra had always been uptight and finicky about herself, Fakhira recalled, and she remembered how Caesar had taken particular interest in her sister. Of course, Fakhira didn't mind and allowed Aphra to thrive in the attention she clearly enjoyed, but when their mother was killed, leaving them to fend for themselves, Aphra lashed out at her suddenly. Claiming that she should have been the only one born, claiming she deserved Fakhira's name - a name meaning "beautiful", according to their mother. Saying that Fakhira was useless, a waste of space. Fakhira was hurt more so by her littermate's words than the actual wounds she inflicted; it wasn't like she could help being unmotivated by, well... everything.
The two sisters went their separate ways after this, but Fakhira still found herself wishing that Aphra came back for her, despite everything that Aphra had done. The insults, the wounds she inflicted, the bullying and insisting on being the 'better' sibling... None of that seemed to change Fakhira's mind on the fact that Aphra was her sister and the only one she knew. Maybe the years have changed Aphra's ways, who knew?
Fakhira sighed, letting the thoughts drift as she stared out of her home, listening to the slight drizzle of raindrops. It was soothing and in a way, she almost didn't feel alone. At least she wasn't the only one upset today, it seemed; the sky was, too.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow]
