[Stryker]

The trip from Palmclan to Alithis Evgenis was a short one, especially since they were both close within the Uncharted Territories and within Tanglewood's range. Nonetheless, the distance didn't matter. The Coalition of the Condemned's Kingpin came with important matters today. Their alliance would make or break depending on the results. Stryker tried to keep his hopes high, especially with an old 'friend' being the leader, but he didn't want to be so sure of himself just yet.

Coming up to the edge of the border, he looked down at the bog-like flora that dotted the floor. Gentle claws wrapped around the stem of a pink flower and uprooted it. Neon eyes stared at it's soft petals and yellow accents with interest, only to gently place the plant between his ear and broken horn. A satisfied hum left the lion. The Coalition of the Condemned had very few flowers due to the destruction of their territory, so the sight of the many was a treat. Raising his gaze out towards the woods in the distance, he awaited their arrival.

Asteri

Powerful body rolled through the mists, said mists thin enough to see a fair distance through. Asteri, since discovering her new shapeshifting, settled, again, on a new body. Instead of a wolf, she was a tiger, black-furred with white stripes. As she caught the scent of a newcomer, she loped over until she was a few feet from Stryker. "Hello. I don't believe I've seen you before. I'm Asteri." Light blue eyes examined the lion, and her moon marking faintly glowed. "Do you seek an audience with Bai Shi?"

Neon hues drifted over towards the charcoal tiger. Finally. Stryker's back straightened out and he settled down on the border finally. A cocky smile curled upon his maw. "Well Asteri, it's a pleasure to be in your presence," he offered back. His head threw itself back, clearing the wisps of hair that cluttered his face. Looking presentable was never a downside. Luckily the flower managed to stay in place too! "My name is Stryker, Kingpin of the Coalition of the Condemned."

The lion firmly nodded in response. "I do, actually," came his low voice. "Do you have any idea where he could be? I have some important business to discuss." His gaze peered around Asteri momentarily, looking for the dragon in the distance. So far, he was unable to find them.

[SLOAN.]

The herald bearing thundering drums, in his wake decay spread across a dying land, ash and waste all he promised in the foul rot of his machinations.

Problems their own held those who deemed the land, poor yet tended still with care as was seen befitting, splintered by another factor, intruders rooted where they do not belong. Another did come beneath the guise of fine mist, the thin vapor curling and fading, obscured only in part the beast adorned in ivory. As best as one of hir stature, child even as the thought soured in hir mind and turned stomach empty for nausea settled heavy, imposing the figure ze cut. At least an attempt of such was conducted.

"What do you need them for." Miniscule the reynard next to such creatures, regal and intimidating though grace prevailed, the ease of addressal Asteri offered other further enraging Sloan. She dare speak as if she bore any power over Bai Shi, might speak for them in any capacity, childish little worries dancing through hir mind.

"Pleased to have made your acquaintance, Stryker." She smiled gently, sitting down quietly. "With how things have been going on with our.. homeland security, in a way, I wouldn't be surprised if Bai Shi was on a patrol. But I'm not entirely sure." Her shoulders rolled in a shrug. Her head swiveled around, also trying to seek out the dragon. Eyes settling on Sloan, she looked back to Stryker. What did he need Bai for?

golden lung dragon & black jaguar w/ vitiligo & platinum silver fox. god of war - ancient. bai shi lynn lingré. proper chinese name is lin bai. prefers lynn if close. they/them. formerly blind. wind element & electric element. firstborn son of jerisidie lingré & current head of family. courting halo mercer. kingpin of alithís evgenis. demiromantic gray-asexual. parent of veris, arvin, leoku, erian, flos, kekhai, evarhi, laeglin, sloan and colwyn. elder brother of ramona and hope, uncle of quennel and cosette. (strike is deceased/unknown status)

the small gathering would not have to wait long for the kingpin to come through, paws treading the ground at a quick speed, dressed as a wolf. pelt dark as night with white streaking about their muzzle and eyes, the wolf approached in a trot, "mhn? stryker?", they would speak as they came close enough to properly make out the alabaster lion's scent, eyes having betrayed them from far away, "haaah. thought you were someone else there. what's brought you to our home?", they would ask softly, tipping their head as they came to a stop before asteri and sloan, turning their head to the both of them in brisk greeting, aware of the thundering of their NPC patrol's pawsteps behind them, catching up.

their patrols were in need of increasing, hunting down what routes the bandits used and combing through the territory with a fine tooth comb. it was past necessary to know the locations, it was nearly time for their own raid upon the invaders. giving a sound as they mis-stepped and caught themself, putting full weight onto their left fore-leg, ensuring the recently injured limb could support them. turning their attention back to stryker, they tipped their head the slightest, gaze holding his. there must be a reason for his visit, he wasn't the type to go around visiting in goodwill without reason behind his moves.
