The tavern, home to many of crewmates, including herself, needed repairs. She knew it. She had been organizing an effort, but with everyone hard at work around her, fixing the huts, treehouses, and everything in between, a different thought occurred to her. She knew what overworking did. She knew it wouldn't be good if everyone crashed, trying to pull more weight than they realized they could handle.
So, Keona set to work on a different project. Enlisting the help of a number of common tavern-going npcs, and a surprise assistant in a young and eager Roux, the petite wildcat began assembling a small break station. With simplicity at its key, the Dealer assembled a table almost resembling a lemonade stand.
Water, of course, seemed to be the specialty. Of course, with Natyli at her side, the sour scent began filling the air. With some time, Keona began filling the cups, jars, and pitchers with ice, brows creased in intense concentration. The last time she created ice had been some moons ago. But this was important. It was for the crew.
"Can we get everyone now?"
Excitement saw no bounds within the cub at her side, eagerly watching as she worked. Keona felt her ears flick, biting her cheek for a second. They had lined the entire table up by now, which should do more than enough, especially if they kept making drinks over time. Okay. She inclined her head in a short, direct nod.
"Great! I'll spread word around!"
Keona barely blinked before the sound of scrambling paws left her ears flicking back in bemusement. The Dealer opted to stay where she was, behind the table and simply raise her voice. "If you need a break, come over here!"
If I fall, get knocked down, pick myself up off the ground
When the meteor fell, the earth split and the waves rose with it. Waves more than enough to sweep Keona and Salem off their paws. Waves more than enough to leave the Dealer battered, shaken, but not deterred. Little kept the tiny fae down for long. The tavern, home to many of crewmates, including herself, needed repairs.
