There was the second half. His eyes flickered upward at the polar bear. He smiled. ”Hiya Suite! Could you go along Pebble Shore and collect any seaglass or other trinkets you can find? I think I saw a bucket by the door to the Planetarium. Or anything would do. You could turn it into a game or competition if that tickles your fancy. Maybe assign certain people to certain colors, or make a bunch of mosaics in the Observatory when you’re done! That could be a thread on its own, I think.” He would love to join in on that. Seaglass was so pretty. And, thankfully, smooth.
Luna! Man, he hadn’t interacted with her in ages. Or, uh, anyone for that matter. It would be up to him to fix that. ”Luna! Hi! Hmm...” He briefly studied the other feline’s face. He wanted to come up with good, fun stuff for people to make. It would help counteract all the private threads floating around. ”Oh! I know! Feathers! And flowers! Could you gather a bunch of different kinds of each and make accessories with them? Maybe feather earrings, flower crowns, feather and flower bracelets... It’s up to you! Catching birds could help get some practice and fresh kill in for everyone. Put any twist on it you want! Have fun!” Starrynight briefly wondered if he could even wear a flower crown. Maybe he could hang one on his antlers?
Remy was next. A pondering look crossed his face as he looked at the boa. Come to think of it, he’d only heard about the lone snake in their ranks from others. He’d never actually met him before. But he wouldn’t make him do a meet and greet. Those were cliché. Starrynight briefly struggled to think of an activity that Remy could easily do. Or was he overthinking it? ”Remy, do you think you could... uh... paint and decorate some plant pots? We could use more color around here. And flowers. I could have sworn there were a few in a closet near the stairs.” He hoped that would work.
Then was Hazel. He didn’t know much about her either. That was a problem. ”Hazel, do you know how to cook? Could you bake some cookies for the Clan? Or whatever else you’d like to make. I’m sure everyone deserves a treat for all thei hard work!”
Finally was Bastille. He knew the fireball would show up. Starrynight turned on his heel to face him. ”There you are! I was waiting for you. Bastille, I want you to hold a session about fire safety. Specifically how to put them out.” His voice was teasing, but his eyes were serious. ”By the Starpool, if you could.”
