Kydobi was going out of his way to get to know every newcomer. It was now a necessity.

Even though just about all of them were children or close enough to one. Still rules needed to be instilled and made clear.

His conversation with Caustic had got him thinking, coming up with a new idea or way to go about these things.

Today he had been looking for [member=11769]charlot.[/member] eyes looking around the camp for the white fox.

  the aforementioned fox was chilling with his brother while the leader looked for him. He'd done a few things today and was a bit tired, getting stuck in a tree took a fair bit out of you, but he was getting hungrier and he knew that he'd eventually need to find some food. He felt bad for the big members of the clan and the food situation, it would've been way harder for them to be full than someone like him or Camille. He wasn't in that track of thought for that long before he was distracted though.

With a gentle shove to his twin, the teen would push himself to his paws and take off across the camp and towards the big-ass black panther dude, a grin on his face. "My big leader dude, how ya doin?"

There was something quite odd about the fox. Most definitely the way he spoke, not necessarily an accent. There was plenty of those to go around to where it was normal and unnoticed. But more so Charlot’s choice of words and favored phrases.

To someone raised to be proper and concise... it was strange and somewhat annoying. Partly because he felt ignorant when trying to understand some of the more colloquial terms.

But today it seemed more simple at least, “hello Charlot. How’re you holding up?”

"I'm doin' totally good, leaderino. Got stuck in a tree yesterday 'n the tree was bein eaten while I was in it so that was weird AF but otherwise everything's great!" Charlot was enthusiastic as he gave his response to the question. "I got a buncha clanmates to let me do their hair-slash-fur so that was also pretty sick!" It was probably also polite to ask Kyobi how he'd been doing. "How you doing as well?"

Charlot nearly bounced in spot as he stared up at the big cat, his grin still firmly in place. He enjoyed talking to the leader, reminded of the nicer priests from his old home. He didn't miss his old home but sometimes it hadn't been terrible. It was usually pretty terrible though. None of that mattered now, he was in The Pitt!

Kydobi’s eyebrows pulled upwards in mild amusement. Leaderino. How fantastic and grand. Surely it would inspire fear, Kydobi would think to himself.

Do people’s hair and fur? Kydobi tilted his head trying to figure out if that was some sort of slang. He nearly asked what that meant but he waited till they were done.

“My day has been alright. I’m glad to see you’re fitting in so well. And I assume Astiar was eating the tree?”

Kydobi knew the brute had to gain sustenance but he wished the dragon didn’t acquire it from the few and dear trees left.

“So Charlot, why’d you join the Pitt? Or why do you want to join? I’m curious. We all have our reasons, I had mine.”
