Finding a cabin that wasn’t run down or in desperate need of repairs was somewhat a novel thing for Fin, since in a climate like this wood rot and mildew was a challenge no matter how old the building was it would always find something wrong with it even if it stood against the testament of time. They were glad they had so little things well little in terms of how things were in their understanding. Only one thing that needed real heavy lifting which was their loom, they could not live without it, and it took a lot of time to rebuild. Of course the device was disassembled and then reassembled.
spoons , plates, knives and such they could make from wood and bone they were resourceful, and it was better than going to look for these things and buying them. They highly disapproved of the monetary system, but knew society would not be where it was now. Rolling up the sleeves of their favorite oversized sweater, revealing milky white flesh white as fresh fallen snow.
They had plenty of things that needed to be sorted out in their new home, as in blankets and etc. their home as least in the interior was more of a triangular in shape than it did outside, well at least that was what Fin was trying to go for since they would have prefered a circular shape to a triangular one if they were able to have their hearth in the center and everything else in the background. As of right now nothing would be dangling from the roof, they were prone to dangle dry herbs of various kinds from the roof in bumbles, ranging from sage to marigold. That smell of smoke and dry herbs was a comforting scent to them, reminded them of home.
But as of right now, a home didn’t smell like a home until someone made some kind of bread item. It didn’t take Fin that much time, they were going to make biscuits er cookies as they were commonly known here. Now it was really considering if they should add flecks of chocolate or keep them plain?
